I’ve just come out of prison I’ve made terrible mistakes and i will live with the guilt forever. I don’t feel like I deserve kindness regardless of how much I change. And yet truth dictates I must try and find a way to be kind to myself, and of course to all other beings. May all beings be at ease Thank you Ajahn this one had me in tears. You have shown me immense kindness. 🙏🙏🙏

Bless you buddy… that feeling is also impermanent… purify yourself one moment at a time with kindness and mindfulness

This talk also made me think on all the bad karma I’ve been generating for myself, both in the past and recently. But I think that is why Ajahn at the end kept pointing out that the point of the path isn’t to dwell on bad karma, but to create new good karma. We made the world worse but that is done, and it just can’t be fixed. Now our job is to make the ourselves and world more beautiful. Always remember the Angulimala sutta. Even serial killers can be freed.

Havent heard the talk yet but there was some great advice from Brahm once.
AFL. Acknowledge the mistake. Forgive yourself. Learn the lesson.

Thank you Ajahn for the talk. Kindness is important but it is not a reason for me to be Buddhist because Christian can be kindness as well I practiced Buddha wisdom by listening and think deeply about it I look at things in a different way specially when impermanent happens to me like losing my love one, losing job etc when you develop your wisdom gradually every things else will fall in line

I have been caught giving answers to classmates before, but I never thought that telling the teacher that I'm just sharing would be an acceptable excuse 🤣 (I understand what you're saying, but it stuck me as funny)

Teehee! When I was a homeless teen on the streets if someone gave me $50 bucks I would’ve spent it on booze and dope. 😂

Have you disciples heard of Sati? Or does he still want a Holden? Should I really embarrass him? No. Do not do it again!
