Definitely keep the doors. Curtains, as a buyer, would tell me, that’s something I would have to fix. Also, I would say no to the gray pillow but intermixing the blue and gold works.
Keep the doors! I think it is more restful on the eyes to see wood doors. You are just getting into this space and will get it just the way you want in time. And then reorganize it again.. because it is fun and life is always changing 😂 I like the blue and gold too.
It might be fun to put your sea shells in a large glass or acrylic jar so you can see them....I have some in a jar, and some in a drawer that I was just thinking I should get them out so they are visible...
I love the gray with the mustard pillows. It makes the pillows show better. Love your comforter. Do what YOU love! You could always make a slip cover for it if you want a change. I love your closet doors!! Will keep cats out also. You are making great progress. The craft corner is perfect by your desk. I sew, crochet, & embroider. I am making gifts for my extended family & working on a crocheted afghan right now. Making pillowcases of kid fabrics I get on sale for grands & great grands & found books at Ollies for them. I can't spend a lot. I crocheted them all animals a couple years ago. They love the pillowcases that I do in their favorite interests. You are getting your steps in for sure! Prayers for your anxiety, etc. I too have that. God has certainly helped me through a lot of changes. My husband of 35 years committed suicide it will be 12 years ago on December 23rd. Holidays are hard. Doing everything myself is hard. just plain hard. But with much prayer & leaning on God, I am making it one day at a time. There have been times I just wanted to go to bed & did. Crafting, reading, praying, walking help. I like the beach but way too far from me. Having friends like you helps also. You are a ray of sunshine. I am currently getting my house fixed up to sell. We built in 1983..breaks my heart, but need to downsize. It is scary for me and very overwhelming. We have been Moms for many years and nurtured our families. As they leave home, it is like losing part of yourself. I wonder where I will move to. I feel safe here. Look to Jesus! He knows & carries us when we can not walk as in The Footprints poem. I believe He is coming soon. Heaven will surely be worth it all. Prayers for you dear friend, hugs & love.❤😊
On the doors on the closet - IF the room works better for you NOW with curtains, then put up curtains and store the doors in the basement for whoever may buy the house at some point in the future. Make decisions based on where you are now, and bot on what may or may not happen…. Big changes for you this year in your personal routine. Losing a role, like homeschooling, that you have carried for many years can be simultaneously liberating and anxiety provoking. Hang in there. Now you are homeschooling all of your subscribers!!! I've watched you for a long time but rarely comment. Keep up the wooden doors. IMO curtains would not be as nice and with pets they would always have free access to your closet. I like the navy with the mustard and I think the grey is ok too if you're using the pillow. If the grey pillow is just decorative, I would store it for now. Take care.
As you are using the paints you could paint the tops of the caps with the color that is in the container. That way you will be able to find the color you need quickly.

I like all the combinations of the pillows. The blue switcheroo, (see what I did there,😉), of the pillows was a lovely unexpected combination. If you do decide to take off the doors, no need to get rid of them. Just store them down stairs for now until you decide sell. I removed my bifold doors in two of the upstairs bedrooms and I keep them down stairs. One of the closets has an IKEA armoire in it to organize the clothing. It acts like a closet 😊system with shelving and a place to hang clothing. The wooden doors are beautiful, but not so easy to get to all your stuff inside. It would be nice to open up and see everything at once. 😊

Also- on the closet doors- if for sale- then yes you need doors but for everyday living I would have to remove those bad boys. They just don’t open wide enough for your needs. If I had a Pinterest worthy closet- I’d leave it open but since I don’t- I’d use curtains.
I use a basket to put thing l have in basement to carry upstairs also. I'm 76 so l put laundry in a bag n throw down steps to laundry, wash clothes and bag n carry it up in sections so l can hold on.
My wife thru the years collected the smaller pinecones.......she would hang them on a clothesline & spray them gold. She would also use them as a decorations on the fireplace mantel & many more ideas.....! She says "Have "!!!!!!

I'd replace the sliding doors on the closet with bi-fold doors. The sliding doors are very awkward and make the closets seem much smaller than they are. I think it would be an upgrade for resale. If you're not sure, ask a realtor.
100% wood closet doors on at home sale time. Often they can be removed from the track but then of course you have to find a spot to store them till needed again. 😍

Yep, yesterday I cleaned the floor of my pantry. Today I did two shelves in the pantry and tomorrow I will probably do the other two shelves.
Keep the wood doors. I vote to remove the grey pillow after u cover your 2 bed pillows with the mustard pillowcases.

I threw seeds of Nasturtiums sp onto dirt n they came up n have beautiful flowers everywhere. I did it late in season too.
I am a scrapbooker! But I also dabble in variety of crafts: clay, paint, fabric, anything I need to achieve the desired look that speaks to me!
