It Does seem Unfortunate and Very Unprofessional , It could be a sign they are going through Financial Difficulties. I remember Last year tons of people posting about late affiliate payments and tons of Affiliate issues. They haven't Posted on their Forums in like a year just ignoring everyone. However i think 1 Reason they Blocked you might be that they didn't like your recent posts on Reddit / Twitter Recently you posted issues about the software on windows 11 not working correctly and appletv updates that seemed to annoy them i think. They responded saying how these types of things should be communicated in Private support tickets not on public social networks and on torguards twitter someone posted a comment about nordvpn is Better? and torguard responded (ya okay tom spark fss) so reading between the lines i am thinking they got mad essentially like you say cuz their rankings dropped and.... you posted publicly about issues/bugs.

This is exactly it. I am thinking this is why. Just very very immature and they could have easily just made their product better instead of this bad move

That's crazy considering how many of us have Torguard because of you. Makes me want to move on too now.

I feel like it's ethical to boycott them on principal. They fucked around and now they're gonna find out.

Torguard has been having A LOT of problems lately, so I decided to starting switching to another VPN. Based on your channel I switched to NORDVPN with a DEDICATED IP. It is so much more reliable and FASTER than Torguard. Thank you Tom!

I renewed my Torguard VPN subscription (3 years) with your code early this year so hearing this news is kind of unfortunate. Guess I'll just have to wait it out until 2027, let's see if the Torguard situation will improve by then or I'll have to switch to a new provider.

    Honestly, Tom:
I think this situation is too early to call. Yes, what they did was highly unfair, but we need more information to figure out what exactly has happened with you and TorGuard.
I'm not defending them for them ghosting you like this, but what I am saying is that we need answers here. I think people should pressure TorGuard into giving us an official statement on this matter, because just as I said when SurfShark banned Andy Ngo in the past, this sets a DANGEROUS precedent of VPNs just banning people they simply don't like.
We CANNOT let this precedent become a thing with VPNs, and goes completely against what VPNs as a whole stand for and what running a VPN service is all about.

I agree but I don’t think and I don’t even trust what statement they could even make.

Well, sad story 😢, i find Torguard a really good VPN for my daily needs but i will move to another one after this, a company that acts like that, can't be a serious company at all. It only reveals that they can't handle with constructive criticism, which takes away their value as a company.

Well Done Tom, at the end we live in this beautiful country as Democracy of freedom of speech and opinions are each individually rights. Therefore they shouldn't have taken you out of their products (VPN). Keep your channel strong and going 👍💪

I hope you aren't talking about the US, because our elections are rigged by two corrupt parties while the gestapo are overpaid to shoot and murder us daily all while our defense industry ships weapons to another country so it can commit a genocide.
I don't see any of that as a "beautiful country", more like a scumbag mafia org ran by the richest citizens.

Which VPN would you recommend to replace Torguard?

Any VPN’s you recommend for Strictly Privacy only?
    Other than Mullvad?
I’m aware about opsec like not using real email, only paying with cryptocurrency and such.

    • @TomSparkReviews
      @TomSparkReviews  Месяц назад +1

Honestly, most people make too much of a factor for this. Every vpn offers the same privacy benefit for the most part since they all use WireGuard and as long as they don’t collect logs. It’s more important about a company’s track record and transparency as well as stuff like bug bounty and security

      Interesting, you’re right.
There’s a lot of misinformation about this type of stuff
Can you possibly make a video in depth about this?
Things about the whole 5-9-14 eyes, and the whole misinformation about VPN’s and its privacy?

@@spIasher nah. this is a company that just charges twice or even three times as much for the same servers and wireguard protocol. besides its marketing for being transparent, the end result is basically the same.

Business is business lol if you’re bad for business why would they support you? Don’t take it
Personal bro. It’s just business. You profit from making videos about them doing this. More content for you. Everybody wins.

Because it’s kinda a scam to advertise an affiliate program without a clear TOS that can ban you for whatever reason

well seeing how nord was able to let me rank them #2, #3 and even lower for the last 2 years or so, I would wager they do seem to support my reviews more and my transparent process.
