My Virgin Kitchen is a RUclips cooking channel I created when I wanted to teach myself how to cook and create a video diary of the journey / mrbarrylewis . I have never had a professional lesson & am just your every day chap attempting recipes to inspire you guys to try too. Most uploads are how to recipe cooking videos, but some fun is had too on Sunday Funday when anything goes, including giant foods, mini foods, taste testing foods sent from around the World, food gadgets and many more. I just started watching your videos like a few days ago. I've watched all of your tasting USA treats (I'm from USA) & I can't help but laugh at the accents you do! They're hilarious!
Fritos aren't potato chips, those are made of potatoes. They're corn chips. You should eat them with some chili and cheese and chopped onions. Frito pies are fantastic.
First time I heard of Abba Zabba was the movie Half Baked. I didn't realize it was a real thing until years later.

It's called jelly in the UK, much as it was in the USA before people started using the brand name of 'Jell-O' to refer to all jelly. Pretty much the same as how people refer to all brands of vacuum cleaners as 'Hoovers'

+random cog the last try he did was a southern texas accent mate, i live in Texas i know it. But he is Hilarious i enjoy watching him, and those accents he was trying actually made me day because i always wanted to hear a british person try to say something with a southern texans accent hehe.
The Moon Pie is a very traditional Southern Kids treat. RC Cola in a glass bottle and a moon pie as a kid in Louisiana on a hot summer day was the best

Yes, people still chew tobacco... it's nasty. In fact I work with a guy who chews *shivers* I live in south west missouri and a lot of people chew here...I have issues with saliva *shudders again*

I would just like to point out that in the United States there are a large number of different accents. I recommend doing a quick search of "us accent map" and check it out. Some of our accents are very similar, however others are quite different. It's the same concept in the UK but we have a lot more land which equates to a lot more diversity in accents. Also, it's good to note we are a big melting pot of other European countries that have accents that have been blending in over the past 100 years. I was not offended by your accent by the way.

Oregonian here, and I need to comment to tell you that Tillamook isn't pronounced with very prominent o's, it's closer to sounding like "Tilla-muck".

I'm a BBQ fan too, those twists are so good very salty a BBQ heaven. Love the Almond Joy she is a good chic : ) It's good that Trolls have their own candy with the trollis. I"m sure your accents can't be worse than mine. I love those after eights and the York patties. I've never had jerky before. Yes the American treat box is the UK and Australian one it all becomes melded into one.

As an American, I can confirm I enjoyed watching somebody not from the US try the food I eat all the damn time. Hearing him say the names with a confused tone is absolutely hilarious to me

born and raised in tillamook oregon where the Jerry chew is made! I actually worked there for a while. so cool to see it in this video
I love the sprinkling of accents, and some of them are pretty spot on for the southern US.

I never buy them anymore, not that I ate them too often anyway, but every time I would buy them they were always stale. Maybe people just like overly sweet stale marshmallows, I don't know.

it was a great video and I enjoyed it!! Very entertaining!! What I found really amusing was when you pulled out the Tillamook Country Smoker Jerky Chew because I used to work at that very company! I am intimately familiar with all their products.

I just found your videos, you're hilarious! I'm from California and I love Snappel's Strawberry and Kiwi, it tastes better chilled. My grandmother use to own a small neighborhood market, so my brother and I always got free candy! Abba Zabba was my favorite and there use to be a commercial for it with a cute song! And Frito's bbq and honey corn twists are my favorite also! Glad you enjoyed!😊

Those honey bbq are my very favorite Frito snacks. 😄👍🏻 Peeps are now available to haunt your taste buds at every major holiday, not just Easter. Put a Peep in your microwave for a laugh. That is all they are good for. LOL at the beef jerky in the snuff can.

PayDay bars are the ONLY candy bar I eat. Loved them for years! Anyhoo - Great video as usual!
They sell Peeps for all the holidays. During Halloween they're shaped like pumpkins and ghosts, hearts for Valentine's day, Christmas trees and snowmen for Christmas, chicks and rabbits for Easter, etc. They even had some minion ones not too long ago.
I used to get Snapple here in the UK, but this just reminded me that I haven't seen it in ages.

On Moon Pies we have both single and double. What you have is the double. I love Moon Pies. All of the flavors are so good, banana, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla. Oh man, I am going to have to go get some now!

Have you tried Flipz, Barry? They're chocolate covered pretzels and they're amazing 😍 the white chocolate fudge ones are beautiful. They sell them in Sainsburys and Tesco now :)
That jerky chew is just sandwich biltong. We practically buy them by the pound here in South Africa. Goes great on buttered bread, and also on fried eggs!
