@@TechNineKOQ1152 im sure it works, it will never pop as it’s rated double than what the outlet it’s plugged in. I just was wondering as I’ve always assumed they were oversized for the initial spike when you key up.
@@Hammerjockeyrepair Yes they will pop if you try to run a big dead key, that's what happen to a CB friend of mine call TNT Jr. #4. He popped a 30A fuse before I started using the 30A breakers. And also I guess I use them because the power supplies are rated at 30A. My self I don't have to worry about that because my whole house is electric, 200A service with "0" Gage cable feeding my home from the power pole.
@@TechNineKOQ1152 The breaker is hooked to the AC line in, the supplies produce 30 amps each unit dc at their output. They’ll draw approximately 3 amps at 115 volts AC per supply. Maximum of 5 units per 115v circuit. I guess the 30amp is just acting as a slow blow for inrush current. You’re protected still as your main fuse panel 15mm breaker will trip if there’s an actual issue anyways. I was just wondering if there was a theory behind the 30a breaker or if it’s just what y’all use
