Squirrel climbed to 2nd floor balcony to eat bird seed

Update: Soooo I used to have a lot of squirrels, now there is just one. I kept hearing the calls of an owl early in the morning so I think they became lunch 😬 Regardless, I'm glad I won't have to worry about too many squirrels showing up!
Is there anything that will stop squirrels from raiding bird feeders? Apparently not. I don't actually hate them, just legitimately did not expect them to climb a brick wall to get to my 2nd floor apartment balcony, so I never bought whole unsalted peanuts for them... 😩 I have 4 feeders, a tube feeder, house feeder, sock feeder, and platform feeder, everything except the sock (black thistle nyjer) has black oil sunflower seeds and I occassionally put out mealworms, unsalted peanut halves, and fruit (strawberries, apples). I was very cautious scaring this guy away as they won't always choose to run away... This is why I talked first to see what his reaction would be, then tried to shoo him.
I would throw out black oil sunflower seeds to the grass area for the white winged doves and think that is what made the squirrels realize I had food... Should have stuck to keeping it in the platform feeder. Aw well, the squirrel buddies are welcome to eat the peanuts I get them next month.
