went to his concert at madison square garden, 2 front acts 1.5 hours and then luke did 5 hours of songs. not a single person sitting

Saw Luke at Gillette stadium last year. Finished the show with this song in a torrential downpour. Most emotional performance I’ve ever seen, mans an amazing storyteller

I was a commander of a small Army detachment in 1973 and I had about 41 soldiers assigned to my unit. As a commander, any soldier who wanted to buy a motorcycle had to get my approval and I was concerned about their safety, driving in Italy, so, I never approved a request. Finally, a soldier was transferred into my unit who already owned a motorcycle. That broke the dam and four other men purchased motorcycles. Of these five guys, two died in accidents, one was severely injured and the other two eventually were kicked out of the Army for disciplinary issues. Motorcycles require extreme caution to be safely operated. Great song.
Not a fair assessment of motorcycle owners. I've rode and owned a Honda Nighthawk at 18. 🎉 Then purchased a Harley-Davidson low rider (current bike). I have never laid a bike down. One has to lookout for other drivers. You have to pay close attention to your surroundings. My point is there are responsible motorcycle owners.

It may not be Luke's story, but it's someone's story. At least that's how I view most country songs, not all, but most. I tend not to look into actual backgrounds on songs too much unless it really resonates with me because I feel like regardless of whether the artist singing it wrote the song or not, or if it's about them or not, someone out there has gone through it and we still connect with it anyways. It's a true story for someone

He just wrote a song and called Gabby Barrett up and she was in the bathtub and ask her if she wanted it because it didn't really fit him. It's about a father watching his daughter grow up.
