I ❤ this book haul! Love the covers of those Lucy Maud Montgomery short story books and adding to my wishlist. I adore books with Victorian ladies or paper doll looks on the cover. Those would be great to read little bits at a time when you’re in the mood for something cozy. I had forgotten about the Snow & Rose book. I’ve not read it yet but remember seeing it in the early days of watching Booktube and thought it sounded interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for watching, Kim. Like you, I love, Love, LOVE a beautiful cover on a book. I think I've gotten that a little bit from watching your videos all these years.🥰
I love L M Montgomery! Some of her shorts are great. I have several little collections and have read a couple of them. I just read Jane of Lantern Hill last year. It was good.
I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of the Loon Lodge series. It's been on my radar. I found out about it a few months ago and did a post about it on my blog. 🐦
Oh, I'll definitely let you know!!! The older I get, the more interested in bird watching I become, lol! This series is really speaking to me right now. 🐦😁
@@believeinyourshelf Birding is a hobby you can do know matter what age you are. I belong to a birding club in my area and most of our members are retired people over 65 years old. We also have teenagers and every age in between. It's a wonderful hobby because it's gets you out in nature which is balm for the soul.
Well, again, these all sound so good. I'll have to borrow the Loon Lodge books and the Montgomery short stories when you finish them And the Bell Family also. And most of the other ones too!! Lol!!😂
What a lovely haul!! I have never heard of the Loon Lodge series but will check it out for sure! I actually have not heard of Jane of Lantern Hill so you are not alone in having not read it but it does sound quite interesting
Great haul! Now you have some good ones for the More Montgomery Challenge. I've been to the Historic Rawlings home, but I can't bring myself to read The Yearling. I tried watching the movie (newer version) and I got so mad at the mother that I couldn't even finish the movie. 😕
Wow, I've never seen those compilations of LMM short stories! Where did you find those? You may have said but I missed it. Gone Away Lake is so good! I remember it so fondly from when I was a child and my teacher read it aloud.
I found them on Amazon. They are so pretty, right? Did you recently talk about Gone Away Lake on one of your videos? I feel like you did, and that's why I want to read it. 💗

I've read most of the Anne books and Blue Castle, but that's all. I hope I fall in love with the book. 😊
@believeinyourshelf do you like those? The Anne books are favorites for me (Rilla of Ingleside is a particular favorite) and I adore The Blue Castle.
@@CourtneyReads I never made it to Rilla, but I adored The Blue Castle. 🥰
THE YEARLING!!!! One of my all time favorite books.
I'm really looking forward to reading it. 😄
Ohhh, I love the cover for the Lucy Maud Montgomery short stories. I've never seen those editions before.
Right? They are such classy covers. ❤️❤️❤️
Great haul. You find the best covers! A lot of them sound really good. The Yearling made me cry so much.
Oh no! Another sobfest book! 😂😂 Oh, dear. I'll read it anyway, lol! 😄❤️

I have the Yearling on my list to finish by the end of the year! I hear such good things. ❤
