  • SMOTHERED OXTAILS
    Ingredients
    3 lbs cut oxtail sections
    1-1/2 cups flour
    seasoned salt (coat OXTAIL with thin layer of seasoning)
    1/2 of an onion
    olive oil 6 TBLSP to cook OXTAILS in
    4 TBLSP to help seasoning stick
    1 cup of water
    season meat with thin layer then dredge in flour heat oil in oven safe pan 350-365 sear meat until browned with some crispy areas
    once browned, add water onion cover and let cook for 1-2 hours check for tenderness every 30 min when tender serve over rice.
