Yeah, poking fun of harsh situations and creating a smile instead of pain is awesome. Turning a bad memory into a way to make people laugh is empowering. Anyone that assumes I was trying to censor them is literally creating an argument from their own insecurities. I never said this.
Low effort throwing out swasticas into the air to see who gets offended isn’t funny, nor is it creative. It’s less humor and more a cry for attention. This is what I was saying.

I respect your position, you never tried or wanted to censor someone, you did, IMO, a commentary in a respectful way, maybe calling to a respectful debate.
I, as someone who sometimes likes a dark joke, respect you and would happily agree to have a de🅱ate about jokes and their hypotetical limits
usually swastikas are meta humor if they're meant to be funny at all. the joke is not the offensive symbol, but that someone felt the need to add one wherever it is, thinking it would be funny. A poorly drawn or incorrect swastika reflects the juvenile act even better. "your mom gay" is the same thing, you'd have to be an idiot to call a woman who's definitely reproduced homosexual as a legitimate insult. people would be calling you overly-sensetive for taking these types of jokes seriously and immediately accusing the jokes or joke-teller of homophobia and antisemitism when they're probably mocking those very things.
what's really ironic is that it's a hostile reaction to an assigned stereotype. you immediately profiled the person based on one action or quality just as a homophobe or antisemitic would. Plus the passive hostility in conjunction with getting preachy-speechy with lots of listeners is borderline hate-speech. being a political hypocrite is a very easy way to keep people from respecting you, so I'd just keep that in mind. It's great that you're condemning prejudice, but less great that you're doing so with prejudice.

I've been watching you ever since you had like less than 10K subs and just want to say it's absolutely amazing just how much you've grown. I remember seeing your videos pop up and watching them from time to time back when they were full unedited livestream uploads and watched them every now and then but it's seriously amazing seeing how much you and your channel have grown not just in subscribers but in confidence, humor, and developing an identity that makes you one of the best isaac youtubers around imo and despite your insecurities I never once doubted you love what you're doing

I'm insanely gay and some of my favourite jokes are incredibly homophobic. I feel like if we bar off certain subjects for comedy and humour to protect certain people we're basically giving those ideas more power to the point where people just can't even talk about them without being judged, and in effect making those people more sensitive. I feel a good representation of this is with Count Dankula and the nazi pug situation. I thought the attempt at anti semetic humour failed entirely in the mod you reviewed, but this is still my opinion as a whole. Not hating, I respect your opinion and love ye Hutts

as someone who is also gay i feel like there is a line between "making light of something" and "using other people's struggles as a punchline." like i make homophobic jokes about myself all the time, because it helps me not take the horrible things people say to me seriously, but when i hear a straight person do it it just rubs me the wrong way because it's not something they have gone through or will ever experience. like its me, a gay person, saying "lol im such an abomination and a mistake in gods eyes" because those are things i have heard people say to me and im making fun of them vs a straight person saying "gay people are abominations and mistakes in gods eyes" for shock value.
i personally think the nazi pug thing was in poor taste but there was a severe overreaction to it.
plus what i dont understand is that it would be super easy to joke about literally anything else? there are so many other things to joke about. the person making that mod couldve put fucking anything besides "kill the jews" but they didnt. it in my opinion just shows a lack of creativity.
Leon oh I agree entirely with the lack of creativity part, the only thing that made it funny for me was Hutts' disappointed reaction. But I feel the only way for these type of jokes to stop is to let them have their course, eventually they'll stop being made as comedy goes through another evolution (we're in the edgy generation right now, the jokes are inevitable). Yet in the mean time if we try and stop these jokes being made they'll just get more and more power and will continue to be a thing (To semi quote Phillip Defranco 'when you tell the Internet to stop something they're just gonna do it more'). As much as I don't care about homophobic jokes, or insults, being made and I'm able to just laugh them off, I get that some people can't do that. However, just imagine how much more of a real punch these things would have if people very rarely said them, rather than now where it's basically just a meme to make gay and holocaust jokes.
MayoPepperGamer I agree and especially with humor it would be hypocritical to say that you can laugh at this joke but not this one because my feelings. Or you can't make that joke because of who you are or your skin color. Hutts was just critiquing the joke and expressing his dislike for that type of humor, I wish people would be more open minded about things.

You should do an isaac challenge where you can only use one key and 5 bombs the whole game and defeat blue baby. This includes not using any item that will change or duplicate the bombs/keys like a perthro or jera. It also includes not using moms key, dads key, the paperclip, the two fetus items, or the tower card. You cant even pick up more than one key or 5 bombs, so be careful. You can still bomb into item rooms and shops. Good luck if you try it.

Some mods are full of well balanced, suitable and enjoyable content, which has been carefully planned and well designed, with elements organised so that they work well together and have a nice variety in the content without being too different.

Yeah, but humor has rules and does not give you a pass out of everthing. Or to phrase it more accurate, calling something humor does not make it humor or deserve the same protection as humor. You can make Nazi jokes, because the but is either the atrocity itself or the nazis, never the victim. But simply slapping swastika into a picture is not humor, it's simply pathetic. Not disgusting, not offensive(or at least it shouldn't be)...only pathetic.
Humor does have rules. For example timing, the butt, tone. All quatifiable aspects of a joke that act as rules that icrease but not guarentee a laugh.
Anything CAN be funny, but it is all in how it is made.
