I am truely jealous; these kids are athletically gifted. They must work so hard, but to pile on top of all that, they also probably study harder than a lot of people. Academically and athletically gifted; must get all the poon they want.
One week till the tryout for U.S team and I broke my wrist I was so pissed. But when it was healed I got on another team that went around and did pretty much the same this but they would be teams from a country not the national team but I know first hand that the guys on that team are raw.
Yes these guys are good. I play with the shortstop in high school and were both sophomores. We both made all state freshman year and we hope to win the 4A NC state champoinship this year. I was hoping to play for the USA team but had to have surgery on my elbow so i ended up playing with the 17u dirtbags.. These guys are the best of the best i promise
bc thats the youngest team also i wasnt expecting to make it i was seeing what i needed to do and get better at see it was a learning experience so next year your better and know what to expect and when your travel ball team is #2 in the nation i think your a little good plus i got invited to go by one of the coaches
when they break to the field you see number 3 Albert Almora who just got drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft...so yeah these guys are pretty good..
you have to go to NTIS, if you do extremely well you might get picked to go to Cary in a huge trial, then bring the count to 36 kids, then you try to make the 20 man roster
Is number 10, Ivan Pelaez? If it is, my team faced him over the summer. He's playing for University of Miami now. He's small, but good. He's up to 88-90 now.
dang man all yall hating im 13 and i tried out for their 15u national team know how hard that thing is and how many teams they go through to get the best players yall wouldnt have gods prayer in making it i bet all yall slak off and dont know how to do hard work and prepare for hard competition i would love to see yall go try out every one would laugh at you
Wow, I wish I had this life... I'm only 11 years old, but I still wish.. I play for my travel team (which sucks, so am going to a new one next fall) and am pretty good tbh.. I pitch 50-60 mph, an OK hitter and a good fielder at short and 3rd. I'd give anything to have this life...
i am the same as you im 13 yrs old i throw mid 60s to mid 70s except im not a good pitcher but an above average outfielder because i can throw so hard and im very fast so i can run down gappers and line drives but im a line drive contact hitter and i steal a lot and id also give anything to live this life
zaCh tHe b05s im 11 too and i play 12u right now but im doing fallball this fall for 14u or 12u (i havent decided if im playin up or not) and im shortstop and third base as well
ok , there is a difference between high school baseball and the 12 year old baseball. next time a college scout asks someone "what was your obp when you were twelve?"... let me know.
@swaggdocttaa aactualy I just made the NE usa team yesterday, and my friend made the team to and were both 14 ... so its not stupid, and if we make the 40 man squad... its not that uncomin for the young kids to make older teams
where can i tryout for this? i need a schedule because i'm definitely good enough, i led our region in highschool in batting avg (544) and doubles. as a freshman
that was disappointing. you get to the stadium and walk into the clubhouse to find.... nothing. the field wasn't even close to being ready, "b.p." off of a tee.
I am 10 I play 13U I think. That's what my couch told me Soooo. Yeah. We are a new traveling team. I have been playing ball for 6 years now. We started practice last night.
let me just tell you how hard it is to make this team for all the doubters first all players must try out for thir state or region they are form against the best players in that state. If they make that team they have to play in a turniment against all the others best players of the other states. Its not just enough to win the turniment you have to be in the top 20 players in the turniment. then you make it to the usa team
jddrew00 old comment but any on else who reads this join a private league like USSSA or AAU basically the same just different leagues. .once you do that keep playing and if you are good enough you or your parents will be approached by the head coach or a scout to come practice with them one day and from there if they like you then they invite you to a baseball camp or something similar for try outs unless you're just really good then they will just put you on the team....
Corey Seager! Alex Bergman!
Those USA hats are fresh, gotta get me one of those
Funny they have to look at the cover of the book to remember what they're sudying
lmao
I am truely jealous; these kids are athletically gifted. They must work so hard, but to pile on top of all that, they also probably study harder than a lot of people. Academically and athletically gifted; must get all the poon they want.
they are so fricken special they work so hard and they get to play the sport they love and they get to be with there friends
2010. Back before the days of BBCOR and lower batting averages. Those were the times hahaha x)

bc thats the youngest team also i wasnt expecting to make it i was seeing what i needed to do and get better at see it was a learning experience so next year your better and know what to expect and when your travel ball team is #2 in the nation i think your a little good plus i got invited to go by one of the coaches
I love how when they're studying, and the guy asks what they're looking at, they always have to look at the textbook to find out.
Corey Seager 6:50

Wow, I wish I had this life... I'm only 11 years old, but I still wish.. I play for my travel team (which sucks, so am going to a new one next fall) and am pretty good tbh.. I pitch 50-60 mph, an OK hitter and a good fielder at short and 3rd. I'd give anything to have this life...
Give your free time and work hard
i am the same as you im 13 yrs old i throw mid 60s to mid 70s except im not a good pitcher but an above average outfielder because i can throw so hard and im very fast so i can run down gappers and line drives but im a line drive contact hitter and i steal a lot and id also give anything to live this life

How does one try out and hopefully make these U teams?
jddrew00 you have to be invited to their usa team trials. Then you go through tryouts with multiple cuts
jddrew00 old comment but any on else who reads this join a private league like USSSA or AAU basically the same just different leagues. .once you do that keep playing and if you are good enough you or your parents will be approached by the head coach or a scout to come practice with them one day and from there if they like you then they invite you to a baseball camp or something similar for try outs unless you're just really good then they will just put you on the team....
