I’m so glad you’re adding these tutorials on the sit down machine. I just got a Q16 myself and have a long way to go to proficiency! Your videos have been a great inspiration and encouragement. Hope I’ll someday be able to duplicate your work. Thanks ❤.
I have a sweet sixteen and as soon as I try to do anything I just get so anxious and make a mess so this is very calming watching you and hopefully I will get in my head to go slow and not be a speed demon lol.
It’s no surprise, but you’ve gotten so good so quickly on this machine! I have a sit-down Tiara II by Baby Lock. I’ve learned so much from you watching your long arm videos that I could transfer to using my machine, and planned to sign up. But now that you will be doing videos on a sit-down machine also, I’m really looking forward to that. You are a master at your skills and artistry, and I’m so thankful you share to inspire and teach others. Blessings to you. 🧵💕
Wow! Fantastic for your first time on a sit-down! (Fantastic any time!) I love this so much bc, since you’re just getting used to it, you are taking your time and going nice and slow! Yet your experience on the feathers shines through! That’s super helpful to us beginners, bc we can see better what you’re actually doing, where you’re going, etc. and that can help us, no matter whether we are sit-downing or long-arming! TFS. ☀️🌷☀️
Your feathers are so beautiful. I first learned feathers on my sit-down domestic machine, and then had to translate that to the longarm later. It's a whole different skillset! I have always loved the shape and movement of your feathers and I try hard to replicate that in my own quilting.
Its like learning all over again!! You’re doing great Adria. I think when you are moving the fabric it’s easier to do one side first travel the spine back to the beginning and do the other side
Your work is stunning! Thank you for sharing! I have a Q20 and I am so far away from your skills but I’m bound and determined to get somewhere close 😂 What kind of batting do you use?
Absolutely beautiful!
Wonderful! So beautiful!
It took no time at all for you to conquer this method of quilting. Great job.
Thx!!! Lots more designs to practice 🩷 I'm pretty excited!
you’re a natural, you do it like it’s easy but I know it’s not. You have so much talent ❤
Aww Thx so much🩷🥰
You are so brave to take all this on! Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻
It's a bit overwhelming!! But thankful for the opportunities!

Awesome! I plan to teach sit down classes once I get enough experience ❤️❤️❤️

Question: How did you sandwich this. Basting, glue?
I have a basting spray 👍

Are you moving the machine or the quilt?
In this video, I'm using a sitdown machine moving fabric
