I'm 34 and got my license last October. I just brought my first car. It feels weird being able to get in the car and just go. It a huge responsibility, but having the ability to go when you want is priceless.
I teared up watching this thinking of my own license journey. I failed my test twice and that second time I felt so defeated. My dad told me to dry my face, that you only fail when you stop trying, and drove me to the DMV to reschedule my test. I passed the 3rd time and cried just like you lol
OMG. This video is a godsend! I am 44 years old and I have just started my driving lessons. I wanted to quit after the first one, but your story made me realize I can do it!
I just got my drivers license 7 years ago, and I’m 35. I tried when I was younger and didn’t pass. I was ok with people driving me around, but after a while I wanted my independence. So, I love that I have that freedom now. Congratulations Adrienne!
I felt the same way. I took driver's ed in high school but I didn't care about driving. My friends didn't mind picking me up when we would go out. But it came to the point that having a car is reliable and I got tired of asking for rides. I got my license at 27 and now I'm 30 working my way up to get my own car.
That was such a wholesome video!! My mom was paralyzed at 17 yrs old so she didn’t get her DL right away! BUT she DID eventually at 47yrs old! She just used hand controls! When I tell you we went on mad road trips baby!!! It gave her a sense of freedom and independence! I was so proud of her! And you too A!!
Congrats A!!!!!!! No joke, I just got my license 3 weeks ago (I'm 31). For me it was years of anxiety and fear of driving but by the grace of God, I did it. I had my first child 2 years ago and told myself "I need to do this for my son. How can I be a responsible mother in case of emergencies if I can't drive my son to the ER?" I felt just like you. And I wanted to show my son that you can overcome any fear by God's grace. You can do all that you set your mind to. I'm so happy for you! I cried as well when I got my license and I cried watching you get yours! You go queen! And we ABSOLUTELY want to see your car done up! ✔️
@@deenadream honestly, I've always been afraid of being in cars at all. I've had the fear for as long as I can remember but I never said anything because I was brought up to stay quiet. So the idea of driving later in life terrified me. It didn't help that my dad made me drive in a parking lot at 12 with no instructions and I almost flipped the car over going too fast on a turn. When i was a kid, he also had a really old truck that bounced way too much when driving that I HATED being in. To this day I can't stand riding in trucks or vans. Any car that tends to bounce a lot.
Reading this I’m almost in tears, my step mom died in an accident when I was seven and I’ve had a subconscious fear of driving since then but now at 22 I’m just starting to read the book and set up my permit test
I’m 38 and I have always had anxiety about driving. I am practicing driving now and plan to take my test sometime soon prayers that I pass. My goal is have my license before 40.
I’m 29 going on 30 & I really have a fear of driving I know how to a little bit but I overthink so many things that I overwhelm myself but I definitely want to learn how to drive
I’m 30 and I don’t even have my permit yet I just need to take that step and get it done.. I dislike that when you haven’t completed something at a certain age people look down on you and say stuff like oh you should’ve been did this or that or it’s common sense.. some people love being negative bad energy
I was so worried that I won't be able to drive my kids around when the time comes; this is literally what made me push through getting one. I'm also from NYC and I never had a reason to get one. I'm so glad you got yours. 3 years later, still don't have any kids but hey I'll be ready when the time comes. Congratulations!!!
I'm 23 and from the UK. I finally got my driving licence after ummm multiple tries 6 months ago. My mum, who's in her mid-forties has now been motivated to start to learn how to drive. I mean, she did start to learn 18 years ago before my brother was born but gave up after failing her theory test but I guess watching me gave her some motivation to retry!
Congratulations! I got my license when I was 27 years old. And same here my mom doesn't have her license and neither does any of my aunts. I decided to get it before my daughter started school. I wanted her to be warm during the winter and not walk to and from school in the cold. So I did it. Best decision.
I’m working on my driver’s license as well! I just turned 30 and it’s my main goal for the next 4 months. I’m determined I’m going to get it. This is my third time attempting this for me it’s more of an anxiety thing.
Practice, practice, practice. I got mine soon after my 29 birthday last year and I practiced with my brother multiple times at home and at the dmv. The driving part. For the test, I took the online ones and would narrow it down to the ones I got wrong and memorize the right answers. The uphill parking always got me😅, so I would go over and over those. I didn’t take the test till I passed all the online ones 100% three times. And I passed the actual computer and driving test the first time and at 100%. You’ve got this, y’all! 👏
You can do it. Don’t give up. I’m 30 and I just got mine. Look on RUclips to see if they have the driving test online. Also if you didn’t go to driving school. Pay to get some behind the wheel experience with an instructor
I literally cried watching this!! I’m 32 years old still living in NY and want to get my license sooo bad. I’m a little fearful but this gives me hope that I can do it too!! Congrats Adrienne 🥳🙌
That’s was great story telling Adrienne! I just got my license at 48 10 months ago! Had the same issues with my nerves and prayed for a gentle, kind-hearted instructor and for God to prepare their heart for me so I can pass. Lo and behold I got a very sweet and gracious instructor and I passed! Side note: I don’t even do that well and she still passed me! Look at GOD!!! Congratulations Adrienne!!!
Omg I just turn 47 took the written exam twice , instructor took me on the highway and that was it for me. Lol 😂 I never went back but your story is inspiring me to go get it again. Be Bless 🙏🏿🙏🏿
I passed my driving test on my third time during the pandemic, I started practicing meanwhile we have a lot of time. My brother was my teacher, and he really was very tough instructor. I learned by the screaming and cursing words. First try, I failed to do U-turn in 2013, second try like you the guy said that I was driving too slowly in 2018. My third and final attempt in 2020 the lady was very nice too and I had a conversation with God like you mentioned about want me to pass the test. When I called my brother to informed him that I passed the test, he won't believe it at first.
Girl I still don't drive and almost 30. All in your own time. It's a big commitment and puts your well being and other beings well being as a top priority when driving. It's good to get a lot of practice in. It builds confidence and gets easier ^_^❤ Congratulations Adrienne!!!🥳🥳🥳🎉❤💕
I had lost my driver's license due to a medical condition. I had to go through many many many hurdles, medical tests, and 2 road tests to get it back. It took almost 3 years. I can relate to the relief and excitement Adrienne feels at the end! Now I drive with my little baby in the back and never ever take it for granted. Congrats Adrienne!!!
I got my driver's license a few days after I turned 16. I remember leaving school early, taking my behind the wheel test and then coming back to my 3rd period class with everyone in my French class cheering for me because I passed. That was over 23 years ago. Getting a license was a big deal for me because my mother never drove due to her fear of driving and I didn't want to be like her.
This has given me inspiration. I lived in NYC all my life and now in NJ for 7 years and still haven’t gotten my license. I am 37 years old and have felt like why even bother anymore. I tried one time and failed. I have been so discouraged to try again. I want it and need it for myself and my kids. This story has given me a an extra reason to keep trying today. Thank you for sharing your journey. 👏🏽😊
You can def do it! I just helped someone study for & pass in nj (also ur age) & he had been discouraged for yrs. We used so many of the nj practice tests on RUclips to help pass the permit & then driving test. Everyday try to put a little time aside to study/practice if u can. This is the yr u get urs too🙏
I’m finally trying again after failing 7 years ago, and this really makes me feel better trying again! I grew up the same way, none of the women had a license so i wasn’t used to it
Adrienne, your strength of heart and resiliency is truly inspirational. Thank you for choosing to be courageous and vulnerable through sharing your drivers license story. It is encouragement for me to operate with such courage and vulnerability in my own life. May the Lord continue to grace you with that same spirit of resiliency and tenacity as you continue to prepare for your future role of being a mother.
Adrienne thanks for sharing your journey to becoming a driver! Native New Yorker here and I feel you on never needing to drive in New York City so why get a license. Had my permit the second I turned 16, took lessons, failed the road test and never bothered with it again. Just got my driver's license as 40 years old! Still have to push myself to practice driving. I still live in New York (although in Staten Island, where majority of ppl do drive) but I still have that Manhattan brain I only think about how I can take the subway, bus or walk to places!
The skill of driving is a must. Imagine any emergency from your husband or family member and you are the only one that needs to get them to the hospital and you don't know how to drive..!!! So happy you are focusing on getting your driving license. I have my driven license but I try to stay away from driving in the city. Thats another world. Good Luck!!
A, I am proud of you. I too, failed 4 times and passed on the 5th time. After my 2nd fail, my driving instructor (who is ex-military) refused to give me any more driving classes. He said he would only give me a refresher on the way to the next exam. And I have been an excellent driver since. Perseverance is a God thing.
Congratulations Adrienne! I grew up in DC so I had no need for a drivers license ( I had 16 learners permits) I never went to take the driving test while in DC, I was afraid of the test and failing. When I moved to North Fulton County, Georgia when I was 24 I had to get a license as everything was so spaced out and there was No public transportation. I signed up for a driving school, where this kind gentleman taught me how to parallel park in 5 minutes. I took the driving test for the first time in GA and passed.
New Yorker here! Got my license at 25 after moving out of state because elsewhere it’s truly needed. I felt your tears A! I will also never forget the man who passed me because like you I failed A LOT. Thanks for sharing, there’s a lot of us who have been there. For anyone in the same boat-you got this!!! 🥰
Thank you for talking about this, it’s been almost 8 years since I took drivers Ed and ONE incident discouraged me this long. I just got over my fear of driving again this year and I’m about to take my drivers license test this upcoming week. I do realize I need a license for my own independence but I appreciated being a passenger princess for this long 😅
Adrienne I am soo happy for you, Girl you PASSED & got your license! yay 🥳 now can't wait till you vlog on what the inside of your car looks like. There's allot of people like you not in a hurry to get it or just scared of the whole thing. I love your persistence & your drive of not giving up.
I clicked so fast after seeing your Instagram post 😄 I can’t believe it. I’m so happy for you after hearing you talk about it on the real. Congratulations 👏🏾
Just turned 30 and finally got my drivers license, it’s been a big fear of mine since I was younger and felt discouraged for many years but it was a big accomplishment for me to finally get it. Although Uber and Lyfts are getting expensive I always found a way around. I feel you all on this and tried in my early 20s as well but girl we doing it!!! 💕💕💕
Adrienne! Omg we had such a similar experience; down to praying to God that I'd have a nice test instructor. My instructor was the sweetest and truly made a world of a difference. Congrats on your license, love! 🫶🏼✨
It’s so great seeing this video because I went through a similar situation this year. I am 23 years old and finally got my license May of 2022. Since I was 17, I have been trying repeatedly to pass my permit and finally passed that after the 4th try at 22. Then this year I focused on the positive even though so many people would say jokes or I compared myself a lot to my younger siblings receiving their licenses before me, I did it and now I am a able to say I am a licensed driver and I don’t regret anything about it at all. Biggest milestone accomplished.
To God Be The Glory!!!! "This was your time and season says the Lord. He says that "I had to mature you so that you could be prepared mentally for driving." So God's timing was perfect for you 🙌 😊!
Thos story is so relatable! It took me 5 tries to get my license! But just like you I was determined to get it and at the time I was the first person in my family to get one! Proud of you Adrienne!
Omg I never clicked on a video so fast. I’m in the process of getting my license and I’m 28! I was gifted a car from my amazing aunt so now I am able to practice and eventually take my test. Fingers crossed I get it and overcome my anxiety while driving! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
This post came at the right time. I had a driving lesson a few weeks back and I was so traumatized by the experience that I have yet to go back and continue my lessons. I’m a fellow New Yorker so I also understood everything you mentioned in your video, Adrienne. Driving really isn’t a necessity in the city. But I sense that it’s time for me to do it. Thanks for sharing your journey. You’ve inspired me to face my fear once again.
Congratulations Adrienne.I am so glad for your journey, From 2007 to 2022 what determanation to God be the glory.Happy driving and stay save and bless little sis.
Wow this incredible story Adrienne, i didn’t start driving till I was 24 years old back in 2009 my cousin thought me how to drive for the first time of my life. In spring of 2010 age of 25 I had passed my road test and got my license and week later my auntie bought me 2000 Chevy Tahoe it felt like kid on Christmas morning when my auntie got me truck. I love my auntie so much!❤️
Yes A, I remember from the first day at the Real and you said you didn’t have a license…I am so proud of you, with God, anything is possible! My mom is 62 and never drove and don’t have a license 🤷🏾♀️
So proud of you, congratulations!!!! You're motivating me to not give up on me getting my license. I'm from NY and I don't have my license, I only have a permit. I'm a mom and I need to get my license soon, just not enough driving experience. I'm so happy for you love!!
I also, as a european, did driving licence for 5 years due trauma and i ran out of money. i eventually passed it and i've been driving for 4-5 years now. I am so happy! Don't give up you guys!
Can you imagine how easy it is financially and test wise in the USA compares to Europe. Not only you'd to drive well but answer like 3 questions and it cost so much
@@tweetyslife253 while traveling there many times, i saw more bad drives in US than in my entire life throughout in europe. and it has been confirmed by a lot of people who have lived there too. driving license is supposed to be hard.
Congratulations 🎉 Adrienne I am so proud of you 🥹!!! I took my driving test 6 times in NYC in 4 different boroughs lol. When I finally passed at my 6th attempt I cried😭 tears of joy I was so happy 😁!! It was 2 days before my permit expired so it was so much pressure lol 😂
Congrats Adrienne. I am in my early thirties and I dread getting my Driver's License. I passed my written exam about 3-4 years ago, with high scores, however decided to not go through with my practical. I can drive, however like you, every time I am to be tested or doing my driving school lessons, made brain short circuits and I forget how to drive. I have full blown anxiety attacks. Seeing and hearing that you finally got yours, has inspired me to get mine. When I do I will share with you. Safe driving now 👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍
This inspired me so much. I've been learning on and off since I was 21, I'm 23 now but I just find it so difficult and lessons are so expensive. But my test is in January so I am not going to give up.
Ade, the og fans know what this means for you & we’re so proud of you!! I’m currently taking classes and my road test is on the 16th! I’m super nervous but it’s like you knew I needed this video, I feel so much calmer now! Thank you for always making us a part of your journey and milestones. XO
I just got my drivers license in May at 30. I literally had to get counseling and took at least 20 hours of driving school to get it because I was so afraid of driving, but I had to learn for my job.
Hi Adrienne from South Africa 🇿🇦 I’m so proud of you, the intimidation you got wasn’t fair and it contributed to what happened with your 2nd test. You are such an inspiration, thank you for sharing your experience with us, your video will definitely motivate people who don’t have their drivers licence to get it and not give up if they fail the drivers test but instead persevere
I’m a New Yorker and literally have getting my driver’s license on my list of goals to accomplish. This video had perfect timing!! 💕 Way to go, A!! I’m happy for you.
Adrienne, This gives me hope of passing my own road test. I will be taking my third road test. I failed my first test and got disqualified on my second. It’s been years since I booked another one for fear of failure( having multiple learning disabilities doesn’t help). This video really encouraged me to go for my road test too. Thank You Adrienne!
SO PROUD OF YOU!!! I got teary eyed listening to you! We all love a good comeback story and how inspiring it was to hear you preservere. Thank you for sharing and OF COURSE we want to see how you decorate your car!!!
Congratulations Adrienne!!! ❤️. As a fellow New Yorker I understand the idea of not NEEDING license but as of lately it’s getting frustrating when I realize I can’t even go to places like Trader Joe’s or my favorite skating rink at my leisure because the commute is ridiculous. I live in the BX and would have to rely on my mom and that’s annoying. My bday is coming up and this inspired me to really go after it within the next year.
Yayyyyyyy congratulations……girl I grew up in nyc spanish Harlem got my permit at 18 and every 4yrs I would renew it lol fast forward to 2017 bought a house in jersey never got my permit for license But decided 2022 was the year got my permit in February had 3 months to practice for road test in May took my road test in an obstacle course took no more than 10 mnts lol and I passed I became a licensed driver at the age of 45 it’s never to late. It’s such a freedom now like I think about it and I’m like why I waited so long lol but it’s the best feeling ever. Congrats again Adrienne
Girl, as native New Yorker from Queens, I feel you on this topic. I was 27 when I got my driver’s license and that was on my 3rd try.😂😂😂😂. The motivating factor was going to parties in NJ and later moving to Arizona, so I needed to know how to drive. Congratulations on getting your license 🎉🎉🎉🎉!!!!!
Adrienne, your honesty and transparency is AMAZING!! 🥰 I don’t know another celebrity on this planet with this level of humility. This video EXUDES confidence! Congratulations on first being HUMAN. Secondly, for receiving your license! You go, girl!! 🥳🥳
Congratulations on getting your DL !! 👏 What pushed me to get mine is because I got fed up waiting for people to take me places. I was waiting for when someone felt like it or was available. I was tired of that, so I did something about it. After getting my DL it took me a long time to drive on the highway. So I'd take the back roads EVERYWHERE. If I had 2-3 places to go, that would literally be an all day affair 😄 So glad you've crossed this off your list. Be well ♥️
Yay 🤗 Congratulations and well done Adrienne!! Thank you for sharing your journey to getting your driver's license. After 3 failed attempts to getting mine, I am encouraged by victory in the end.
I just got my license last year…and I’m 36! I have a similar story to you. I live in da Chi, so public transportation was my friend (still is!). I originally started driving when I was 19, had multiple driving permits but could never get someone to take me. When COVID hit, I was determined! I enrolled in a driving program, took a few driving courses to build up my confidence in driving, went to my driving test (I had to be at the DMV at 5 AM to ensure I was one of the 1st people in line…they opened at 8) & I ACED IT! I haven’t purchase a car yet; but I’ve been using Zipcar to get a feel of driving frequently. I even rented a car & drove 5+ hours to visit my Dad in Missouri! It’s never to late to get a license. Cheers to you! 🥂 And congratulations on your growing family! ❤️🥳🎉✨
Congratulations Adrienne, your story was something I could relate to ,I failed my drivers 3 times until eventually joining a bootcamp driving school for Truck driving so I could get the Truck licence as in South Africa a Truck Licence (C1 ) enables you to drive all Vehicles. I still took regular car driving lessons until i eventually nailed it and started driving but the struggle was real leading up to the day I got my licence . Like you I cried and called my family in disbelief that it finally happened, you just have to not allow yourself to be discouraged by past failure .
Hey Ade! Congrats girl...I went like 4 times before I got my license ad well so I understand the nerves ans the fear...but I tell you what, when God says it's your time NOBODY CAN STOP IT!
I’m soo happy for you!! I remember watching the driving segment on The Real 😂 you inspired me to practice driving and now I finally have my license (2 years now). Congratulations!!
Congratulations Adrienne! Back then when I got my license at 18years old their wasn’t so many laws like today. So I understand why it was difficult to get your license. Their are more new laws, and their stricter with the driving test. Enjoy your license, and be careful with all the crazy drives out there on the road.
I know I’m so late, but Adrienne you are literally my twin. My birthday twin and we both have the same initials. And the fact that I’m 33 years old and I’ve never had a drivers license. I just bawled seeing this video because as crazy as it sounds getting my drivers license has always been one of my biggest dreams and something that I have been so insecure about in my adult life. Thank you for sharing this journey now I don’t feel so alone. I tried two years ago to get my license and got disqualified both times. I’m headed back soon to try again thank you for the motivation. I have so much anxiety and nervousness, but as you said, I’m gonna keep going until I pass. Thank you so much for sharing this. It is a lifesaver. God bless you.
i got mine in 2006 i was 24yrs old i was so happy til i got into 3 big accidents afterwards over the years it cause me to be afraid of driving now i didnt drive for 12yrs now since my last bad accident and my car is 20yrs old even if you dont drive you always need that license in case you have to someday congrats to adrienne happy you got your license hope to see you driving in some of your videos in the future
The first driving experience I was 16. I was enthusiastic about it then, but never attempted ever again until my 20s and I was suddenly now terrified and got anxious; I have a hard time multitasking. I feel like do I keep my eyes on the road, or my foot on the peddle, or my hands on the wheel! 🤣🤣 Honestly, I was so used to my dad taking me everywhere that I never saw the need to actually learn and take the test. I am still telling myself I was born to be driven.🙂 Now, I am motivated to try again.
Congratulations Adrienne on this achievement. I can imagine how happy this must make you feel. I failed 3 times so far and I still feel very discouraged from the last time. Hopefully I can muster up the courage to try again.
So proud of you for being real and sharing your journey with us! CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🎉 💖 please never stop! I have my driver’s license for years but I’m afraid to drive because I daydream a lot while I’m on the road, it doesn’t feel right. It’s also a cultural thing, they get worried about women more than men, makes us ladies very insecure. This video helps a lot to get back to it and be motivated, so thank you! 🌺 P.S. I’m almost 35 so it’s really not an age thing but the journey itself 🙏🏼
Your sister was the motivation for you, and you’re the motivation for me! Thank you for this Adrienne. Driving is really teaching me another level of persistence.❤️
I’m 31 and just got mine last month! I moved from NYC to GA a couple of years ago and the amount of money I spend on Ubers out here made me finally decide to get it. Happy for you! 🎉
Congrats Adrienne!!! 🎉💕 So happy for you! Girl, I’m next! I’m 36 & will be 37 next month. I recently moved to NC and need a DL here. My husband got his in NYC before we moved and now it’s my turn! Pray for me 🙏🏼 Permit first, then road exam. But I need lessons first. Pray I have by the end of this year. It’s in God’s hands 🙌
I got my driver's license at age 23. I renewed my permit five times because of fear. I finally took the course and passed my driving test on the first try. I also had a teacher like Adrienne on the day of my test. My driving instructor encouraged me to get there early to be the first person to take the test and get it over with. I was shaking in my boots, but when I heard I passed, nothing else mattered. Congratulations Adrienne!
Yayy! I love everything about this video!! The backstory (which I already kind of knew because I follow you lol), the change of heart towards getting the license, the perseverance despite disappointment and setbacks, all leading to the victory! Well done, Adrienne! Well done and congrats :D
OH ADRIANE!!! First of all....CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Same as you, I didn't have a DL for the longest time, always had my papi or brother to take us places, but in USA is more a need than a luxury to have a vehicle and been able to drive legally. For me it took several people to be patience with me to teach me how and finally my sister who got her license before me, same as your story. She was the one who helped me and took me to do the test and I failed in one question so the lady wanted to disqualified me but her boys came and said it wasn't critical and besides she was going to be with me on the road. So I tried the first time and I failed at paralelo parking, so she said go and practice and come back. So I did, my sister pushed me to do it and again, I almost failed but the lady instructed me how to do it and I passes. Same as you, I cried and THANKED GOD for being SO GOOD TO ME!!! Gracias por tu honestidad, eres bella de verdad!!!
Third times a charm foreal okay!!! I’m 25 and I just got my license back in January. For me it took me this while because of my anxiety and it also took me three tries with the cones and on the 3rd try I got my license !! I literally said the same thing you were saying before taking the test! God is good!!
Girl, I went through the same EXACT journey!! I failed all test until I reached the 3rd!! Oh my goodness this was a huge flashback for me!! Congrats and welcome to LA roads, so very proud of you! Yo, be careful with the potholes we got lots of them all around the city... ALL cities lol :)
I. Love the openness you have to telling this story I failed 3 times before getting my license. I was also driving slow, I also turned into the bicycle lane , I feel you!!
I genuinely miss your presence everyday through the Real but I’m so happy you’re keeping up with this channel. Please never stop Adrienne 🤍🤍
Love your personality A! Please never stop posting videos ♥️
Thanks for the motivations.

Gurl, I feel you, 34 here and just got it🥳 You can do it!
I just got my drivers license 7 years ago, and I’m 35. I tried when I was younger and didn’t pass. I was ok with people driving me around, but after a while I wanted my independence. So, I love that I have that freedom now. Congratulations Adrienne!
Love the freedom!
I felt the same way. I took driver's ed in high school but I didn't care about driving. My friends didn't mind picking me up when we would go out. Congratulations Adrienne...a driver license is a part of a woman's independence..Greetings from Suriname 🇸🇷
this is amazing and so inspiring. thank you so much for sharing your experience :)
Honestly sameeee! I’m 30 and my son is 2 and I said I need to get this!!
Why were u scared?
Me too! And I’m 33…
This video really encouraged me!
Heck yes ! We will get it
@@tishinathomastruth!
This is my third time attempting this for me it’s more of an anxiety thing.
you got this
I’m in the same boat. Super determined because it’s been a loooong time coming. Good luck 🙌🏼
I am in my 30's as well and i don't have mine but working on it currently.
I'm 29 and I been practicing and I just get scared of taking the behind the wheel test, but hearing your story I definitely want to keep pushing
Sending positive energy for ya! 😊
I literally clapped for her at the end of this video. So proud of you, Adrienne! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
To God Be The Glory!!!!!!!
Yes!! Proud of you.
Good luck on your journey, you got this!!
No girl this is a life skill. Don't give up, you got this.
Go for it- I’m in NJ and it changed my life. The freedom is awesome
😂 You really kill me but I’m super proud of you for going out of your comfort zone and getting your license. Congratulations 🎉
😂 Thank you. Xx
I'm glad you got your license, you're an inspiration for us all who don't have their license yet
@@AllThingsAdrienne 🎊 Good for you. 🙂 I just got mines at 43 ! I had gave up and decided to try again.
I really love how you are normalizing that it's okay to fail and try again and to keep going! Congratulations you're a boss!
Congratulations Adrienne! Way to never give up! So proud of you!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations. Passed 5th time too
Congratulations Adrienne!
I do realize I need a license for my own independence but I appreciated being a passenger princess for this long 😅
Congrats Adrienne!❤️❤️
Adrienne I am soo happy for you, Girl you PASSED & got your license! yay 🥳 now can't wait till you vlog on what the inside of your car looks like. There's allot of people like you not in a hurry to get it or just scared of the whole thing. I love your persistence & your drive of not giving up.
I clicked so fast after seeing your Instagram post 😄 I can’t believe it. I’m so happy for you after hearing you talk about it on the real. Congratulations 👏🏾
Congratulations Adrienne! Your story is inspirational to those of us who are learning how to drive.
Yay us!
Congrats! 🎊
@@jmeiahb2608 thank you! 🌟
@@gwenmorris113 Amen! Thank you!🙏🏼
Yesss! Proud of you.
So so dope that ur aunt gifted you a car! Good luck
I'm 26 hoping I cam get over this and hit the road soon
Congrats girl! You didn’t give up and that’s what’s important.
So proud of you, congratulations!!!! You're motivating me to not give up on me getting my license. I'm from NY and I don't have my license, I only have a permit. I'm a mom and I need to get my license soon, just not enough driving experience. I'm so happy for you love!!
I so relate to this. I got a driver's license recently and I too was sooo nervous for the test even though I practiced so much ugh...
Congrats Adrienne. That's one of your qualities of success - you don't quit. God bless you
I also, as a european, did driving licence for 5 years due trauma and i ran out of money. i eventually passed it and i've been driving for 4-5 years now.
Safe driving now 👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍
You can do this, go for it. Whisper a prayer and claim what's yours 👍🏽
Its never late, do it when you feel ready
This inspired me so much. I've been learning on and off since I was 21, I'm 23 now but I just find it so difficult and lessons are so expensive. But my test is in January so I am not going to give up.
Ade, the og fans know what this means for you & we’re so proud of you!! I’m currently taking classes and my road test is on the 16th! I’m super nervous but it’s like you knew I needed this video, I feel so much calmer now! Thank you for always making us a part of your journey and milestones. XO
Yes 💯. She's ticking that list. 👍
Yasssss🥳🥳🥳 tears rolled down my cheek when you said she said you passed....Such a good storyteller!!! Congratssss🥰
Adrienne,
This gives me hope of passing my own road test. I will be taking my third road test. I failed my first test and got disqualified on my second. It’s been years since I booked another one for fear of failure( having multiple learning disabilities doesn’t help). This video really encouraged me to go for my road test too. Thank You Adrienne!
What a touching story. Congratulations!! What a journey and what an incredible moment.
I’m also a late driver (fellow New Yorker) and this warmed my heart! Great job!
Congratulations on getting your DL !! 👏
What pushed me to get mine is because I got fed up waiting for people to take me places. I was waiting for when someone felt like it or was available. I was tired of that, so I did something about it. After getting my DL it took me a long time to drive on the highway. So I'd take the back roads EVERYWHERE. If I had 2-3 places to go, that would literally be an all day affair 😄
So glad you've crossed this off your list. Be well ♥️
Yay 🤗 Congratulations and well done Adrienne!!
Amen Gods timing is the best
I’m soo happy for you!! I remember watching the driving segment on The Real 😂 you inspired me to practice driving and now I finally have my license (2 years now). Congratulations!!
Hearing your excitement while telling your story made me want to cry. I’m so thrilled to hear this news.
CONGRATULATIONS girl so happy for you.
i got mine in 2006 i was 24yrs old i was so happy til i got into 3 big accidents afterwards over the years it cause me to be afraid of driving now i didnt drive for 12yrs now since my last bad accident and my car is 20yrs old even if you dont drive you always need that license in case you have to someday congrats to adrienne happy you got your license hope to see you driving in some of your videos in the future
Screaming in tears of joy for you A. Soooooo SUPER Proud of you. I knew you'd get it. Happy SAFE driving mama.
Thanks for sharing this story! Because I am in this same boat. It's some kind of anxiety of obtaining a driver license... and we know we can do it
Your sister was the motivation for you, and you’re the motivation for me! Thank you for this Adrienne. Driving is really teaching me another level of persistence.❤️
I totally understand the women not driving situation. I’m glad you and your sister are driving now. 💚💚 congratulations 🍾
I’m 31 and just got mine last month! I moved from NYC to GA a couple of years ago and the amount of money I spend on Ubers out here made me finally decide to get it. Happy for you! 🎉
At this point Adrienne getting her license..is all our testimony❤..thank you Lord 💯 congratulations 🎊
I feel so proud of you Adrienne!! ❤️ I love how you spoke with god before taking your test. I admire your grace and how you are so hopeful in life
Congrats Adrienne!!!
Well done and congrats :D
so proud of you, A! a story of overcoming through failures! don't stop, always try again. love it!
I'm a New Yorker who got a license at 30 (two attempts) haha- totally normal... I live in Westchester where I can actually park 😂
I have followed you for so long and I feel like throwing a party 😂😂😂 congratulations!!
3rd time's the charm for a lot of us I guess!
I. Love the openness you have to telling this story
I failed 3 times before getting my license. I was also driving slow, I also turned into the bicycle lane , I feel you!!
Congratulations! 🎉 I am literally crying too! This is such an encouragement 🙌🏾
I'm so proud of you, Your RUclips family celebrates you!!!! And yes to seeing you jazz up your car!
