How To Install Custom Recovery TWRP And Root Your Device Using Magisk

  • Hey guys this is a tutorial on How To Install Custom Recovery TWRP on your android device and then right after rooting it using Magisk. In order to install Custom Recovery your phone bootloader would need to be unlocked or else TWRP won't work. If you need help with unlocking your bootloader or want to know if you can even unlock the bootloader since some carrier locked devices does not allow the bootloader to be unlock just comment down below your android version and your device and I will get back to you with information. Also you would need to have the Fastboot and ADB drivers in order to flash TWRP. Lastly make sure to enable developer settings and have usb debugging enabled, if you don't know how to enable developer options i have a video that i will include below that will show you how.

    Fastboot Commands:
    fastboot flash recovery (name of your twrp file).img
    fastboot flash boot (name of your twrp file).img
    Instructions:
    1. Enable developer options by tapping on the "build number" tab that you will find under your settings. Than enable "USB Debugging" and if you see a "Unlock OEM Bootloader option" enable that also.
    2. Install ADB & Fastboot drivers using the links above.
    3. Install the drivers for your device, such on google for the drivers.
    4. Plug in your device and go to where you install your ADB & Fastboot files and open command prompt.
    5. Enter bootloader mode by turning off your device and holding down on a button awhile pressing the power button once, it's different for every device so search on google on "how to put your phone into bootloader mode.
    6. You can also enter bootloader mode by typing on the command prompt " adb reboot bootloader" then pressing enter.
    7. Then enter the commands from the "Fastboot Commands:" above.
    8. Now you device might boot into recovery mode automatically if not than enter this command "fastboot reboot recovery" then press enter.
    9. Now when you are on TWRP it will ask you for a password so enter the password or the pin you set on your device and if you didn't just hit cancel.
    10. Now it will ask if you want to allow modifications so swipe to the right to allow.
    11. Go to install and select the "Select Storage" button and than select your sd card and select your magisk file.
    12. Now swipe to the right to flash and wait a few minutes until it finishes and than reboot.
    And that's it you now successfully installed TWRP Custom Recovery and also you rooted your device via Magisk. Now you can download rooted only apps and use them.
