Thank you for this very helpful video. But i still couldn´t find an answer for the most important question: Can i create an auto engage wah pedal? So when it is in the heel-down position - no wah at all and as soon as i use it, it starts wha-ing. Like it is in the Helix or Fractal stuff as well. Or the best thing i could pray for: When i play in the rhythm channel and i start using the wah, it jumps automaticly in the lead channel. AND the wah is working. But the ONLY divice i know what is able to do this, is the BOSS GT 1000. I even called Fractal Audio for this question, but they negated it. Thanks for your inspiration guys
IMHO they are all very similar (through the ears of a non-expert) ... Do you feel the same way? I wonder if the real ones also sound similar like that ...
Thanks for your tutorial. Can you tell me what kind of guitar cable should I use to connect the HoTone Ampero Press to the Hotone Stomp II please? Thank you so much.
Hi Aaron. Is it possible with this Hotone , to activate the wah with the expression pedal and stop it with the same way, like we can do on the Helix . Or is it need to press a switch every time to activate or Stop ? Thank you
@@AaronSopungco Headrush expression pedal can do it, but your modeller (Ampero II in this case) needs two exp inputs (one for the switch, one for tracking the sweep motion of the pedal). It can be done using an external midi controller (if it has the extra exp inputs), there are guides on YT (or online elsewhere) about it. The Hotone midi controller can do it, but others can do it also. It behaves like a regular wah pedal.. stomp the toe switch to activate it.. stomp the toe switch to turn the wah off.
Thanks for this, very good job! I believe it would be interesting to know which amp models you used in both clean and dirty sounds.
I stick with the Fender Black Twin amp sim and its matching cabinet. My dirt sounds are Precision drive going into the Rebel.
Is there a way to set a dynamic or auto wah ?
Hey man, great vídeo! Is it possible to activate wah effect by stepping on the expression pedal like a regular wah or only on ampero switch?

You need a trs patch cable to make expression pedals work. :)

I also wish this can be done. However, I still haven't found an expression pedal that can do this switching option.

@@AaronSopungco Some Morley's wah can do this.
Soul Press II!
I'd love to make a demo comparing Stomp's soul press vs the real deal. I hope Hotone sees this and sends me one soon. 😁🤞🤞
