I like it. Especially the Bass bassoon with the subject sounds like on an orgen pedal. And The interpretation was very fast but precisely and wonderful

Beautiful performance! The voicing sounds very lively, you can hear the lines more clearly than on organ. Looking forward to the fugue (if you decide to play this one as well)

Bravo! As an organist, I especially liked this! I am surprised, however, at some of the liberties this arrangement took, as I'm quite familiar with the original organ version. In particular, right at the beginning, why is the 9th note of the theme wrong? It should be a "D", not "F", but there it is in the score, an "F"!
@@organist1982 you're right, it does seem strange with the F. I think it was a good decision from the arranger to cut a couple of sections as it is very tiring to play. Thanks for the comment.
This has always been one of my favorite Bach pieces, and this is a superb arrangement. The contra on the low pedal notes is so solid. Well done, sir!

Why is the best variation of the whole passacaglia omitted at 4:23? It would've been the one that sounds best on the bassoon, too!
