Hi Marty it’s funny that you and i have many of the same cars, my Mc Laren is a nice car to drive and so is the Shadows but my green Porsche 962 beats them all so set that up and win the race i now you have one. Danish Arne from UK
I guess a tune on accelerator attack could help on curve exits since it are sliding more than the others. Or may be a other tire type if allowed. I think it could improve the lap times
@@alexandredeoliveirapenna198 it is a bit tail happy for some reason.. going to tear it apart and look at the original tuning to see if I can get it to hook up a bit better..
Hey Marty, I'm with @SlotCarWildman on this... Your P68 is a great choice for the main runner. The GT40 would be a great backup. (GT40) I'd start with the ratios before a motor swap. Changing the ratio is a fine part of dialing it in without a huge change to the drivability. It's easy to swap a motor to increase speed. Oftentimes it's unnecessary because you don't need all-around speed, just an increase either on the straights or in the bendy bits. Ratios are your friend. Stay Slotted 🐷🤙🏼
Hello Marty I love your videos. Can you tell me the size of your track and how many feet of track you are using? I want to model my layout based on yours.

Hi Marty - really nice seeing these cars demoed 😀 I think the choice comes down to personal preference. First off, and with NSR, should you not be thinking the 'white' hard compound chassis for a smooth, hard surface. I suspect your teal coloured ones are 'soft' and so they would work better on more uneven and plastic tracks? More generally, it would be good to get a handful of Predator 25K motors to test. Gearing? If there are long straightaways then maybe notch down the crown gear a tooth or two? I suspect they will need to be very long to make much difference, mind. All in all and if it were left to me, and in terms of what you have shown, I would run the TS McLaren 6A -possibly with a 25k motor if the balance and road holding are good? Voltage and braking adjustment on a good controller can compensate for many of the other variables and, as always, a good balance and ability to keep the thing consistently planted on the track is key. As is sometimes observed in motorsports: "If you want to finish first then first you have to finish".
Fantastic Darren. I was just having a conversation about the chassis and my logic tells me that the hard chassis would be better on the wood track.. thanks for the great comment!
go the shadow with a 25k motor
I tested the shadow last night with the 25k motor… lap times before 8.3…. After 7.7…. So I picked up .6… and it is still solid in the slot..
I miss slot car racing it was so fun . That's a nice track Marty very cool .
Thanks Dan! Slot cars are back!
Well going have to brake out the cars then again . We used to do slot drags to that was pretty sweet .
I would love to race anyone one of those but I like the pink pig
Cheers mate 😊
It’s a great choice Chris!
Shadow with the thunderslot yellow as backup, personally I would run 2 shadows with 25k motors
The Shadow is locked in to the slot for sure.. I am going to throw the 25k motor in it and test to see if that still holds true..
💘 all the 🚗 GT 40
Thanks Monty!
P68 and the M6A since you say its close to the Elva’s performance and your already comfortable with the way it drives.
Rob.. was I that obvious? 😂😂
@@twolinesslotcars it wasn’t difficult to read between the lines, or should I say two lines 😂
Pink Pig and McLaren!
The pink pig just looks great going around the track..
I think you answered your question....P68
Maybe Frankie..
NSR, you can't go wrong.
I was hoping that the Mosler would qualify for the GT class
@@twolinesslotcars I have my Show & Go NSR GT40 MKII cars sitting eye level at my computer desk.

Thanks Arne! K do love my 962’s!
Thunderslot M6A as your main car, with the NSR P68 or Porsche 917 "Pink Pig" as your reserve car.
I like those choices Mark!
Hallo Marty, I prefer Thunderslot McLaren No. (5).
Good choice! Thanks George!
I think the NSR P68 YELLOW seems to me to be best choice. 👌 it's already set up for wood track.
I am planning to throw the 25k motor in it to see how much it gets better..

@@FSR-Flying.Swine.Raceway you nailed it.. thanks bro! GT40 is flying around the track..
Also Marty Try 11/36 Gearing!!
Thanks Lee!! That is the hearing in the P68!
P68 a no brainer
Going to throw the 25k motor in it and see how it responds.. hard to tell on my track.. it doesn’t like the softer chassis..
I like the P68
It is a sweet car
My vote goes for The Shadow but because its black maybe you will have a hard time seeing and in that case go with the Yellow NSR
Gene.. I am curious to see what the Shadow will do with the 25k motor
Nothing, and I mean nothing, is faster that Speed Racers Mach V. Especially when equipped with Chim Chim and Sprityl in the boot!😂😂😂
There has never been a more true statement 😂😂😂
Your McLaren M6 with a 25k motor, you know it and feel most comfortable with its power curve and handling
Yes, Shuan.. I am leaning that way pretty hard..
Pink pig for me Marty just because 😂😂😂
Yes Robert! It is just so cool.

Kevin.. it is 8’ x 24’ table and the lane length is 97’. I have posted the plan on a number of my videos.. let me know if you need it.

I'd say go with the SHADOW. that would be a good breaking for the motor. Especially if you don't run it that much.
Start to outlaw the elva.. .M6a or the Gt40
If I can get the Shadow as fast as the Thunderslots it would be great!
❤ ola all
Hey Monty!
Dafingers
25K motor!!!!
Chris.. for the wood track.. I think it is the right motor
I say the shadow, it’s sounds like it would be the biggest challenge to dial in. 👍🏻
I am up for the challenge Johnny!
Dafingers1 🏁😁
25k in the GT40
I will test and let you know!

Ghost cars are set up using the Carrera Control Unit.. easy to set up, easy to set back to regular car.
Hey Marty FLY OR NSR 908/3 For Vintage My Favorite cars to run Very Balanced For Plastic Or Wood!!
I have a NSR 908/3 but it is busted up from thousands of laps of digital racing 😂 it is a fun car, but is missing a lot of parts to qualify..

GT go with NSR AMG evo
I still need to figure that class out… 🤦🏻♂️
Thanks for the recommendation… anglewinder or sidewinder?
McClaren or pink pig
The McLaren is a rocket
GT40
It’s a great looking car John… a fun drive
GT40…good, low cg and body can take lots of abuse, fewer small parts/appendages to break. With right motor & tires, a very competitive choice.
I am planning to throw the 25k in it and see what the results are..
So many choices 🫤 can not go wrong with the thunder slots 🤜
👊 I have to agree with you Jim..
