I was scrolling online and somehow this place appeared on my search. It looked really good and so we decided to stop by. Beachside kitchen is located in the Niu Valley shopping center on Kalanianaole Hwy.

Soo glad you are going to go back to Japan. I have heard that a lot of restaurants have gone out of business. I hope the places Grandma remembers, are still operating. A Japanese Instagram kid, licked unused: cups, plates, the sauce bottles on the table, in a medium-grade sushi restaurant. Lovely to hear you are working again Nikki, too.

I love how protective she was in telling you to take the shell off the shrimp, otherwise it would get stuck in your throat. The plate lunches looked delicious! It made me miss my mama so much! If you can find the raw peanuts, you can boil your own. My mom showed me how. Salt, Star Anise, Cloves, Cinnamon and Shoyu. You can adjust how much of each to suit your taste.
