- 'The Charismatic Enigma' won last year's King Of The Ring tournament, and now, he's looking to add another crown to the mantlepiece! It's going to take a whirlwind of Twists Of Fate, a fury of Swanton Bombs, and maybe even a little bit of enigmatic luck to pull it off, but I think we've got this one in the bag. I get you, on the combo system. It's just extra, you don't have to do them to do the grapple moves though. One thing that's whack though, is no Advanced created entrances. It's a decent game, playable at least lmao.

I’d be happy if this storyline continued for season three. I don’t think I ever played this game for as long as you have without starting over so I genuinely don’t know what happens every week as far as the story goes.
It's fun, man. I think we'll wrap this Season Mode in the coming weeks, and then in 616Nitro Season 3, we'll start up a new game. Still many season modes and story modes we haven't touched.

16:15 The controls looked awful to me too when I saw that screenshot of the controller. I was very hesitant about 2K22 but honestly after a couple hours I got used to the controls and the game overall became a lot of fun. The combo system, all things considered, is not even mandatory. You can do regular grapple moves as before. But the combo system IS pretty fun and adds some depth and quickness to the game. I promise you that you would enjoy the gameplay. Its kinda hard to explain but its pretty damn smooth (at least by 2K standards) and is fun to play.
Agreed !! You have to try it, it is WAY better than it sounds in theory. Very smooth game and the ability for the match to swing back and forth, feels like the momentum of an actual wrestling match.
@@andrewholloway9613 Yes. No more stamina, reversal limits, superstar specific abilities, etc. Just pick whoever you want and enjoy the match. It gets very intense in some matches

When I was younger I had Day of Recconing 2, before I went to bed I started a fatal 4 way cage match with the first 4 people available. I believe it was Batista vs Big Show vs Booker T vs Carlito. When I woke up the match was still going on!! So I went to school and decided I’d see who won later, when I got home, it was STILL GOING ON!! I turned my GameCube off because it was so hot in the back but I remember being in shock by that match

Honestly 2K22 is very fun it does feel bare bones but if they can continue on from this it’s gonna revitalize the series for years to come

A 2X King of the Ring winner, hell yeah man! This was awesome bro🤘I've actually been playing a lot of wwe 2k22 and gotta tell you its really fun man! The gameplay takes a min to adjust but feels so responsive. Gm mode tho.. Not tha biggest fan brotha. I feel like they took away from the freedom we once had and have you doing the minimal on each show. There's fun to have in it but definitely a huge miss apportunity on 2ks part. Would love to see you play it on the channel tho? Whether Gm mode or a little bit of career mode. Fortunately Jeff is still in it too👍

The combo system isn't the only way to do grapples, there's a traditional grapple system but the combo system adds a ton of possible moves to your moveset and they're pretty much universal so it's not hard to remember them. I want sold prerelease but it's grown on me
I'm sure I'll have to feel it to really get it, yea.
Tbh I can't think of any upcoming media I'm excited for, but my birthday is next month so I guess that's something. Just the idea of taking a few days off work seems like a blessing in it of itself haha

Of course we want a GM mode 2K22 playthrough! Haha actually, speaking for myself, I wouldn’t mind seeing you do it alone, as I think for your own sanity/scheduling purposes, being able to record them whenever works for your schedule would make it much less of a burden for you, since it’s going to be a multi-episode deal.
Great episode! Jeff Hardy has always been my favorite wrestler since the beginning of the more edgy Hardy Boyz in the late 90s, so I have especially been enjoying this playthrough (My top 3 are Jeff Hardy, The Hurricane, and Ken Shamrock)
The scheduling thing could be the biggest deciding factor. I detest having to work around other people's schedules, lol
You can still do grapples like normal in wwe2k22 but tue combos just give you another avenue for combat. Havent seen any bugs on ps5 i love this game

I was pretty skeptical about the launch of 2k22 so I waited up to a week, after seeing the decent reviews and gamplay I ended up buying it. I've gotta say it's a huge improvement over 2k20. It's really fun and the combo system isn't big as a problem as I thought it'd be. Honestly I highly recommend especially after the last couple updates that has fixed most or all of the crashing problems. I usually play universe mode or MyF mode and haven't seen a crash since the last update yesterday. I'd love to watch you play Gm mode. I tried it and failed hard. I suck at managing things. As always loved the vid man. Happy to see a game from most of our childhoods still being fun af. (I apologize if there's 2 comments that are basically the same yt is messing with me saying there was an error with my other comment and idk if it'll post or not.)

GM Mode in 2K22 is so damn good. A bit limited but it still so much fun and addictive. No it's not multiplayer. Im on my third GM Playthrough while still playing My Rise inbetween

Btw in 2k22 if you have all of the tables in the ring you can break them all without any of them disappearing. Also you can Irish whip wrestlers off the hell in the cell. It's not as good as hctp or svr 06 but it's still possible.

I also stumbled upon The Opera Cup in MLW Wrestling I know your busy brother been a sub of your channel a little while now and got a concept for you. The MyGM Mode in 2K22 is a bit of a letdown. It is two player if you want to play with another person, but it's very bare bones. Literally an update just yesterday from me typing this added the ability to make tag matches for tag titles in MyGM which... is very strange for that to be something included in an update.

I got over 100 hours on 2k22 on pc and unfortunately some slow down and some little glitches but it’s more funny then game breaking honestly I love it personally so yea I’m down for some 616 2k22 🤘🏻🤘🏻
On a side note I agree with you on the combo system however I’m honestly loving the combo system because of the different animations between some of the different combos

Regal for the final of the king of the ring tournament does kinder make sense for storyline reasons if you think back Jeff has beaten regal for the European championship and then Regal won the hardcore championship from Jeff in a four way match so it's kinder of gone full circle in the story line for them two to face off in the king of the ring final and win a chance at the WWE championship. But tho saying that I wanted Diamond Dallas Paige to get to the final 😂🤣
