How to add and edit automatic captions on Linkedin

Linkedin has released a new feature: auto-captions for video.
When you upload a video on LinkedIn, you can choose to have captions be automatically generated, potentially saving you time and helping you engage a broader audience.
But are these auto-captions any good?
In this quick tip video, I show you how to use these new auto-captions options, and comment it is worth using this feature.
Here's a tip
It may take some time for the captions to appear after your videos are posted. A notification banner will be displayed below your post after the captions are generated. Please check back on your post.
You can also turn off the auto-caption feature if you intend to upload an SRT file or a video which already as captions 'burnt' onto the video.
Notes:
Auto captions are currently available in English only.
You can’t yet add auto-captions to carousels.
You can edit auto-captions only once on the LinkedIn website.
Auto captions are available for all LinkedIn members and Pages.
For scheduled video posts, auto-captions will only be ready to review after your video has been posted
You can also add auto-captions via the mobile app

Hi David, according to LinkedIn, auto-captions are available to all members. So you should have access. Do you have creator mode turned on? FYI, Auto-captions are only available in English.

@@simonbanksvideo yes, creator mode is on. And I only work in English. Let me tell you this is the weirdest thing. I'm pretty good with computers but my LI interface looks different. I contacted their support.
