thanks @socaldriversclub for having us out to the event! it's always a great day when we get to test new modifications at the track. Today, we got to bring the M2 back out to Buttonwillow to test our recent modifications. Although the tires were absolutely roasted, we had a great time and learned a lot about the track! We had a major blowout on one of the tires for the M2, causing a bent wheel and some small damages around the car.. super thankful it wasnt any worse!

Replace the front tension arm bushings with spherical ones!!! Turn in and control under heavy braking improve dramatically. Than me later 😉

Are the temps better with the hood mod?
Love the m2 track videos!! You'll find that alignment will change the car like crazy. Try - 2.5 or - 3.0 front camber and it'll be a turn in monster.
Great job handling the weight given the lack of traction. Your suspension will give the rebound/stiffness needed to get big bertha around the track.
What happened to the other camera guys? Seems like they just disappeared and that young dude seemed really nice

I need ur advice , imma go to the circuit of americas and wanted to ask if I should go on track mode or comfort ? also on the brakes , thanks ! any advice would help , I own a ‘24 M2
Honestly personal preference. COTA is a pretty smooth track and the car is super heavy so Track mode suspension should be okay.
Sorry Dustin you could of been better prepaired for the track for sure. Hopefully next time maybe your coilover suspension and adjustable camber plates and lower adjustable control arms plus some sticky track tires will be in soon. Good video content as usual thumbs up.

Dustin since you have a ton of track experience. Which would be the first thing to mod on your car for track use:
- Tires
- Brakes
- Cooling
- Engine

do you have a second channel where you just post lapping footage? you wear a helmet go pro, but barely show a lot of laps during your videos. I get thats your style of editing and i like it, but i would love to see just raw lapping footage

Sidewall failure like that can come from running too low pressures. 28psi hot, on a car that heavy and a none race tyre like that is probably too low for it
You need M4 CSL front spindles for more camber, no one will ever know.

Honestly, I’m still really bummed you didn’t stick with the time attack r32. This M2 is still rad, but the GTR felt more like you and your channel. I haven’t seen many channels track a full on r32 race car and ever since you attempted to make it work, I’ve been dying to see more. On another note, I’m thankful to see more outside shots of you driving, that gives a lot of perspective. I would love to see an insane JDM time attack car though. One that’s built to the fullest. The M2 is badass but I’m telling you, a more raw car provides so much more drama inside the cockpit. These new cars are way too easy to drive. Having a more ‘drivers car’ plays a lot better on camera 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

You really need to invest in some mic pieces. When your facing the camera the voice is fine. But when your pointing at the car the voice quality is painfully annoying to listen to and watch.

@@hondaboyz213-cj2og stock for stock s58 holds up better. 2jz has 20+ years of aftermarket support and knowledge so of course people have done some insane stuff with heavily built ones.
With proper tuning and the correct fuel setup we've had Mark 4 supras hold a 1000 to 1100 whp
