thanks @socaldriversclub for having us out to the event! it's always a great day when we get to test new modifications at the track. Today, we got to bring the M2 back out to Buttonwillow to test our recent modifications. Although the tires were absolutely roasted, we had a great time and learned a lot about the track! We had a major blowout on one of the tires for the M2, causing a bent wheel and some small damages around the car.. super thankful it wasnt any worse!

Love the m2 track videos!! You'll find that alignment will change the car like crazy. Try - 2.5 or - 3.0 front camber and it'll be a turn in monster.

Replace the front tension arm bushings with spherical ones!!! Turn in and control under heavy braking improve dramatically. Than me later 😉

That’s pretty awesome you got 5trwck days out of a set of tires. Cuz I’ve never gotten more than 1 3/4 track days on a set of tires on my M4.
Sorry Dustin you could of been better prepaired for the track for sure. Hopefully next time maybe your coilover suspension and adjustable camber plates and lower adjustable control arms plus some sticky track tires will be in soon. Good video content as usual thumbs up.

- Tires
- Brakes
- Cooling
- Engine

Honestly personal preference. COTA is a pretty smooth track and the car is super heavy so Track mode suspension should be okay.

You need M4 CSL front spindles for more camber, no one will ever know.
Sidewall failure like that can come from running too low pressures. 28psi hot, on a car that heavy and a none race tyre like that is probably too low for it

You really need to invest in some mic pieces. When your facing the camera the voice is fine. But when your pointing at the car the voice quality is painfully annoying to listen to and watch.

@@hondaboyz213-cj2og stock for stock s58 holds up better. 2jz has 20+ years of aftermarket support and knowledge so of course people have done some insane stuff with heavily built ones.
With proper tuning and the correct fuel setup we've had Mark 4 supras hold a 1000 to 1100 whp
