Fireworks were inspected in days leading up to malfunction, Fire Marshal confirms

Provo Fire & Rescue is taking the lead on investigating why fireworks went into the crowd at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Thursday, injuring multiple people.

That 45 shot cake tipped over somehow. It did not explode. You can see many, if not all, shots are fired downward. There's no other way this would happen unless the cake was pointing in that direction. It was not secured properly.

First time at that show and if I and my mother's child hadn't loitered in the lower portals to get a video of our daughter dancing in the show. We would've been up on the east side getting blown up.

3:14 I'm sorry that people were hurt. What a terrible thing. It sounds like somebody or many somebody's are going to lose their jobs and many lawsuits most probably will be forthcoming. This is the kind of thing that creates and/or triggers PTSD. Also, it did not negativity affect only 6 people but everyone in attendance. I think class action is coming.
