Here a helpful hint I got from Tammy from Shabby Fabrics. Save the tissue paper and cut it into strips. Then when you are sewing onto the front of the vinyl place one of the strips of tissue on the top and it makes it easier to sew. It rips off very easily once you have sewn the edges closed.

If you have a LauraStar iron you can use the special plate that covers your iron and then iron your vinyl.
