  • At the American Academy in Rome, filmmaker, Nick Heller, followed Visiting Artist, Ann Weber on her daily rounds, scavenging cardboard boxes out of dumpsters, collecting ideas from architectural details and Bernini sculptures and creating sculpture in her studio.

    so good! The DIY ethic, vision and juxtaposition of the classical fine art as the background to the modern fine art has a pleasing synergy. What puzzles me is the lack of subscribers and comments here from the fine art community. Wouldn't it behoove the SFMOMA to take a minute to check in on this lovely film?

      Hi Sussi, I was at the American Academy in Rome in the Visiting Artists Program. It is available for people all over the world. Go to their Website if you are interested. The experience changed my life as an artist.
