We just drove the ET7 for 90 Minutes around Munich. This car is excellent engineered. Never drove a quieter car. You don‘t even feel 160 km/h, it feels like 100 in another car. The Hifi is marvellous. The sound is better than most high-end names. And last but not least: The efficiency seems to be fine. The average consumption didn‘t go over 20 kWh and was way below it in normal traffic. Looking forward to a longer test.
@@charlesd9949 never judge the book by its cover... and the financial conditions have nothing to do with the car which itself is pretty amazing. I recommend watching some GermanEV channels where people talk about the weird and too wxpensive abonnement scheme in Germany by Nio.

Hi Bjørn, been a viewer of your channel since like 2017 or so! Do you have any plans to check out the MG 4? I think it is a game changer especially since it comes with so much standard. Its like a model 3 but for £25k instead of £48k

Isn’t it a bit too early to call this „German Premium“ as in the thumbnail, since at this point in time nobody knows how long this car will last? I’m not saying a Nio can’t be premium. I am just saying at this point Nio still has to earn our trust.
I'm sure it can last at least as long as any German car, most likely longer. The word here is "premium" not "reliability". Let's be honest here, nobody thinks of the word "reliable" when they think about German cars.
@@CumBrianFries I disagree. Look at taxis in Cairo for example. What are they driving? 30 year old Mercedes. Ask owners of the Volkswagen beetle or the Volkswagen Van. Thank you!
Most are from CATL.some are from NIO own battery company.

EV database says et7 can tow 2000kg, if true that would be insane. Lets hope that they get more than 150kw peak charging with the 150 kwh pack.
Says 2000kg in the Norwegian configurator also.
Nio seems legit, sure there is always room for improvement but given they are relatively new, I don't see a reason to hate on them.
New? They are from 2014, not that new. And they have 220,000 Nio cars on the road already.

What do you mean 'German Premium'? It's a Chinese car.
Japanese is bench mark for quality. German is benchmark for luxury.
Test drive German vs Chinese at same price point and then compare
The only chinese thing about this car is that the brand was initially founded in china as a business venture of a certain german brand.
