This is what I use for my hunting brass that I don’t have Giraud trimmer pilots for. The carbide chamfer cutter is a great upgrade. Nice review, John 👍
Great review...I have owned this for a while and it really holds up. I shoot a lot of Lake City brass (made right here in Missouri haha), and this unit is great at removing the primer crimp. Learned something (guess I should have read the manual)...I didn't realize the small cup of lube is to be used with the brushes...going to try that next time I am prepping brass. Excellent Review! Thanks John!
I was just looking at some of the models that are out there and you just made up my mind for me thank you so much for information this was a great video at the right time
awesome review! I have a Frankford Arsenal one, and i purchased a amazon foot pedal for it.. soo, i can use my foot to turn it on and off if i am doing a huge batch load.. i will definatly look into the RCBS Boss. great video, cheers from Maine!
Seems you mentioned possibly getting a Summit 2000 to review? I do use one for seating bullets. There's a guy on Accurate Shooter that makes a stiffening pin to hold the extensions square. You have probably seen it. I currently use an old Rock Chucker and the Summit 2000, they fit my needs. I did break a handle on mine resizing brass, that poor handle deserved to break...the Bushnell Rep sent me a new one. I also use the RCBS collet bullet puller, it works well on either press. I use manual Lyman tools for my brass prep and I would like something with a motor.
Ordered on in February of 2024. Nice but the 24VDC transformer has failed. Contacting RCBS to see if they will honor the warranty since selling out to Hodgdon Powder three months after I purchased it from Vista Outdoor Sales who owned RCBS until May 2024.
Idea: on a white board write down each reloading step in order that you do. Just curious. Im a new reloader and want to stick to a proven method of order. Yours is probably pretty good.

the short answer is, it depends. long answer is read books, and dont take shortcuts.
A great unit especially if one loads a lot of plinking and varmint shooting ammo.
I use Lyman’s version. This tool is a must for any reloader.
Agreed, no matter what brand you have they're so helpful.
Thanks for making the video. Pardon my ignorance, what is patreon?

@@FClassJohn thanks
Hey John! Off topic question, did you get your new auto drive set up for your 750 yet??
My drive will be here soon. I can't wait.
@@FClassJohn Awesome! Can’t wait to see the video and setup!
Pushing down on brass seems to make more sense than to-the-side
