@dilwich123 The class 170 from bachmann also has the middle mounted motor and i haven't had one problem so it must be the tilting creating the problem. Also a middle mounted motor makes it easier to power all wheels. :)
@gtacrusher123 - it's planned for release this Summer. Maybe sooner if I can help it - would it be a thing you'd like to see and use and visit? Especially if it had a shop on it and a help section, as well as links and a database listing every single bit of rolling stock I have?
Hi! Thanks for your great videos. OO gauge is near imposible to get on the continent, so do you know a good webshop in the UK that ships overseas? I also run N-gauge DCC so a link to UK rolling stock in that gauge aswell would be fantastic! Keep up the good work, best model train presenter on the web!!
hi there i recently purchased this train and i have noticed it is very slow i have the xc version aswell and that runs fine i was woundering if u have had the same probelm i have had?
@T0pper221 - yes, this is a replacement! The original had a broken flywheel!!! And this replacement has been noisy since day 1. Bachmann...... not impressed.
i know im not intercity82 but i know the answer to your question. no it is not, but you are close! HO scale is mainly used in north and south america. it could be used in other parts of the world.(i don't know) IC82 is british so he uses OO. the british equivalent to HO. hope i could help.
Hi will...i recently bought the virgin 221 but where are the couplers kept ? Cant seem to find any in my box pack. Do they use standard bachmann coupler bars ? Thanks
@InterCity82 yes it would be great and by the way i found out what was wrong with my flying scotsman (its insulating sleve was gone so i used a bit of insulated wire and put the plastic sleve over it)
what the lead car isnt the power car. how odd. could you swap the motor car coach body with one of the dv bodies so you dont have the motor visible? if i were bachmann thats how i would have laid it out. i have to say, the brass etched name plate is a neat feature
Evo-stick is good for nameplates. Not impressed with the fact they've carried over the coupling arrangement from the 4CEP. I found that too fiddly to use, and it felt like it was going to give way every time I used it!
i see you have 5 class 58s your favourite one Electric Manton, and thoresby colliery and two 58's in BR grey with yellow ends and not forgetting the EWS class 58
DC means you connect an ordinary power supply to the track and all the trains run at the speed according to the power put to the track. DCC means that the trains each have a little computer chip inside them, the track has constant power at all times, and you can control each train individually with separate controllers without separating the track into blocks or separate electrical sections.
@InterCity82 im sorry i got a bit carred away there, but i have to deail with this almost every day on my layout but she is a good looker (for an evil dissle)
Very Great Video!! :3 Soon i am going to buy my Hornby Train Class 43 FGW x10 carriages total and with tracks :3
I will be getting this in cross country livery with the class 170 for my birthday and i just cannot wait
Intercity82 I am a biggest fan of you I watch all your videos and I also subscribe to your video.💙
@MrPetrolhead09 - watch Part 3 before you fully decide :)
i got a virgin pendolino up stares in the attick the very first time and i am keeping it till xmas day
Units are best run-in on their own - with no coaches or wagons attached.
@crazyracer12 - I will put out a special video on the new site, and ask people what they would like it to have on it when I'm closer to that stage :)
the two work very well together.
@largespliff - it sure is, I think it can be found at the Severn Valley Railway, in one of the bins.
InterCity82 is
This is epic
can I have the train
Louis Stoneham
@gtacrusher123 - it's not the track. It's the Voyager. Trust me. The filming has already been done and the problem has been solved. :)
@crazyracer12 - I got it from a model shop last year - but I will be selling them on the official IC82 site when it goes live. :)
@InterCity82 Sweet! Will you be selling four-wheeled coaches in GWR, LMS and other liveries too? I could use tons of the,. :P
@dilwich123 The class 170 from bachmann also has the middle mounted motor and i haven't had one problem so it must be the tilting creating the problem. Also a middle mounted motor makes it easier to power all wheels. :)

What brand is the railer? And where do you get one from? Anyway, great review. :3

@LegoArtsProduction - Part 3 is scheduled to be live for 6:00pm GMT or 7:00pm (BST) but it might be a bit late - depending on how busy the Net is.
InterCity82 22
If you wanted to make it so that the motor was in the middle you could take the body shell of the middle car off and place it onto the motor chassis
What would you recomend this or the hornby pendilino (Im a massive Doctor Who fan XD)
turbojermyhamondALT2 the 2yfr
do a oo class 450 by bachmann! I live in that region. I love your videos, keep up the good work!
hi there i recently purchased this train and i have noticed it is very slow i have the xc version aswell and that runs fine i was woundering if u have had the same probelm i have had?

I have a alstom pendolino, always wanted one of those! :-)
it is quite old now so might be sold out?
What company is that railer from ie. Peco/Hornby and can you get it from Hattons?
Thanks
@gtacrusher123 - it's not oil that's the problem. All is explained in Part 3.
@T0pper221 - yes, this is a replacement! The original had a broken flywheel!!! And this replacement has been noisy since day 1. Bachmann...... not impressed.
Compared to part 1, most of the people who've viewed this have often come for 5:51
Great as usual! :)
@ishan99b - Guagemaster, and are avilable from most good model shops. I'll be selling them from the new IC82 website too. :)

@istich123 - from a model shop ages ago, but will be selling them online soon.
what do they call that thing what you put the loco on track with
i know im not intercity82 but i know the answer to your question.
no it is not, but you are close! HO scale is mainly used in north and south america. it could be used in other parts of the world.(i don't know)
IC82 is british so he uses OO. the british equivalent to HO. hope i could help.
Also, do you have to put the couplers on every time you take it off the track?
@InterCity82 when abouts wil it go live
what is that thing used to help put it on the track called
Hi will...i recently bought the virgin 221 but where are the couplers kept ? Cant seem to find any in my box pack. Do they use standard bachmann coupler bars ? Thanks
In The Clear Plastic That The Locos And Coaches That They're In (Not The Giant Box The "Blocks Of Ice" That The Locos Are In
They are usually kept in the 'Block of Ice' where the motor unit is kept
@InterCity82 yes it would be great and by the way i found out what was wrong with my flying scotsman (its insulating sleve was gone so i used a bit of insulated wire and put the plastic sleve over it)
How do you run this DMU in- in any particular way or just like other normal DMUs?
Great job.
i know im 7 yrs late but do u think hornby or bachmann are better
@istich123 - Part 1 says 3 parts at the end.
@matthewpeter - I use tackywax instead :) But yes the couplings are very annoying
I had a bachmann class 158 that derailed on curves and all it was just the wheel put on incorrectly
Do hornby make dummy boxes aswell?
I am just wondering how you got this set with the "Dr Who" car? I tried to look for it on the Bachmann website and nothing was showing.
hey dude ever thought about buying trainsafe boxes?
very good train pack runs nicely but it derailing is a big problem
lol

i have to say, the brass etched name plate is a neat feature
They have some in Hattons and also have the 220 Virign Voyager set

Evo-stick is good for nameplates. Not impressed with the fact they've carried over the coupling arrangement from the 4CEP. I found that too fiddly to use, and it felt like it was going to give way every time I used it!
Sadly.. I had to watch part three.. I really cant believe I did but there you go.. Am I a secret nerd?
whens your website up running functionaly
I haven’t got virgin Hornby but what speed does it go to maximum
it would be cool if they were able to open and close the doors and have the moter not sounding like a old car
The voyagers have motors on every coach
i see you have 5 class 58s your favourite one
Electric Manton, and thoresby colliery and two 58's in BR grey with yellow ends and not forgetting the EWS class 58
@tpe18509 - Part 3 reveals all. If it ever decides to upload.
@RedBullMatt14 - lol, sorry about that :)
how many DMU 's have you got
@InterCity82 bachman is verry fames for this typ of prblem and so are the railroad range from hornby, but its good detail.
Hope you get better 😽
What does DC means and what's the difference between DCC and DC?
DC means Direct current, & the Difference is DCC Is Digital and DC is analogue. Most of my Trains run on DCC.
DC means you connect an ordinary power supply to the track and all the trains run at the speed according to the power put to the track.
DCC means that the trains each have a little computer chip inside them, the track has constant power at all times, and you can control each train individually with separate controllers without separating the track into blocks or separate electrical sections.

@InterCity82 Okay. I'll keep an eye out for it. :D
@Class59Cameron - ahh right.
They use the same couplers on the Bachman Intermodal Wagons nad they are a pain to work with
would you say she is better than the hornby pendolino
bachann trains run on hornby track ?
i have the XC version, that is also always derailing!
Do you ever have t re-do sences?
why the goop mess on the rail assembly units?
Sticky tack. Keeps the rails together and keeps them from moving on the wood floor.
Marcin Jaworski drunk much?
great ive got one but a hattons ltd edition weathered one
WHERE IS PART 3
DMHDTrains - Too the everywhere 8hhyuufm
Could you just have a 4 car set if you wanted
@InterCity82 im sorry i got a bit carred away there, but i have to deail with this almost every day on my
