Last 15 mins was the difference in pace and passing ability in between Epl and Championship. Both late goals Coventry defenders couldn't live with the pace of Spence abd Johnson
As a coventry fan I agree, but not necessarily cause they are better or worse just had more tired legs than the substitutes that won for yous. Was a brilliant match either way and them last 5 minutes is the difference between championship and Premier league.
Bergvall will be such a good player for this club, controlling the game as much as he does at his age is amazing.

He will be a great player agreed but I don't think he controlled the game at all last night, we were dominated for most of the game.
@@andywood233 we had over 70% possession in first half and created 0 chances and allowed them to have about 10 chances.
He's too much dribbling, and his pass is often dangerous for a player receiving a ball, he has to learn simple play and increased scanning
@@rezachaerudinsyah3519 idk if I agree, yes he has to learn that he can't always do little flair passes and make more simple players but a lot of the players around him are so stagnant and do not move into openinings, the overall team attacking/creative mindset needs to improve

I’d love them to win Carabao but not at cost of top 4. Silverware is nice but if we don’t get back into UCL, we’ll lose ability to attract or maintain our best players. (Regardless of it boosting our spending powers by 50-100x more). If we don’t earn, we can’t buy or maintain good players. Like it or not, it’s still down to maths in part.

I think Ange is managing the player's fitness levels with these changes; Bergval is young and inexperienced with the demands of the English league, so isn't going to get 90 mins thins early in the season. Timo starting gives other players a rest for the league matches.
Also note that Bentancur started the last 2 matches. Smart move if he gets a six match ban from the FA, because other players will be relatively fresh when they come in

If they ever do a highlights reel of Davies' time at Tottenham, that block must be in it surely. And his shot was about the only time that we looked like scoring in the first 85 minutes as well. Not a perfect performance from him, but great block.

Coventry weren't that bad.
Coventry were the better side. Kulu and Spence made the difference, terrible performance by the lads that started other than Ben Davies and Bergvall.
I knew letting go of experienced players like General Hø & Gio Lo Celso was a mistake. As talented as the youngsters are they are unproven in the EPL. I hate to be a negative Nelly but I doubt we'll win anything again this season.
Coventry played well, but you can see from the highlights how Coventry came close to scoring several times other than their goal.
