So sad we lost Victor Davis so young. His was a bright flame dimmed too soon.
My all time favorite swimmer. He was so driven just a joy to watch
What an accomplished Canadian athlete. Well done, Victor.
We will forever remember Victor Davis, just as we remember heroes of WW2.
1984 was a great olympic year. ABC Sports in USA and CBC Sports in Canada. Ted Reynolds called the swimming event for CBC while Jack Whittaker called the swimming event for ABC.
Actually Jim Lampley called swimming for ABC that year.
RIP Victor
