PHIUS+2018: The Affordable Path to NET ZERO
The new PHIUS+2018 Passive Building Standard update puts projects on an efficient and affordable glide path to zero. It now aligns with the Architecture 2030 challenge. New source energy rules will have the largest effect on building design as they now open up more design and cost optimization options for project teams while also nudging the teams along on the path to zero. We will discuss the specifics of the changes to PHIUS+2018 and their effects on the design for different building typologies (single and multi family).
