If your weapons aren’t doing much damage try attaching a Horriblin Horn or Boss Bokoblin Horn to your weapon! I was stuck for ages until I completely forgot about this new feature!
The Recall skill is very useful in this fight actually. If your aim is good, you can deflect the explosive rock back to Gohma. Even if your aim is terrible, at least it helps to get rid of one of the rock and make way for you to pass through, especially in phase 2.
When he surrounds you with the exploding rocks, I used recall and climbed onto a single one so it would yeet me outta the circle, then I hopped off before it hit and glided on top of him
going in that fight i was sure you need to either reverse the time on the exploding rocks or somehow use arrows on the eyes, but both proved pretty useless i was sure using weapons on this guy was a mistake as i had very little damage done to him using my trusty ol' travelers claymore and fire-like spear. this plus having no upgraded armor and like 7 hearts was making this fight very frustrating as i was sure i was doing something wrong, but i ended up killing him anyways.
@@dataexpunged4784 I wouldn't exactly say recall is useless in phase 2. I managed to use recall on the falling rocks, climb onto one to launch myself up to Gohma, and then hop off before it explodes and activate bullet time for some easy critical hits with arrows. Was it the easiest option? No. Was it fun to execute? Hell yeah.
@@dataexpunged4784 Recall is very useful in second phase imo.
