What's that red switch? And all B&M shifters have a lifetime warranty I just called customer service and told me to box it up send him a picture of the tracking numbers and he shipped me a brand new one without even receiving mine great customer service FYI Holley bought B&M shifter so you have to call Holly customer service
How long is your shifter cable? It seems like the 5 ft cable that the starshifter comes with is way too long for my 70 chevelle 4 door with a two speed powerglide ( yes I know it’s not really made for a powerglide ) but what did you use? A 3 foot?
Howdy! It's the original one that came with the unit so I'd guess the five foot cable. I made it do a full loop over the top of the transmission before heading to the shifter to use the slack. Never noticed any issues with shifting. Just don't kink it. Thanks for asking!
I've thought about it. It's one of those things that I'm not terribly good at so I'm leery of putting up something that would look instructional. Kinda like why I rarely show my welding process. Thanks!
I just got a used starshifter along with a bunch of other parts, i intend to install it in my k5 blazer but just playing with it on the bench i noticed it will ratchet from 1st to 2nd really smoothly with a nice clank, but wont clank into 3rd when i hit it, it just moves forward a bit but doesnt actually engage and comes back to second.. would you happen to know what i could do to fix this? thank you
Don't waste your time. He takes it out and puts it back in, and it worked. But he doesn't know why. That's it.
Very lengthy video that with ads that did not do much of anything.

Thank you so much, I needed to know that, my B&M went to shit exactly like this, don't want to spend the $400 + for a new one

Mega Shifter for my 82 Firebird 350TH was installed by a local shop. It wont go into the 2-3 position. What did they miss?
Thanks for the question.! Will it go fully down into first and then won't ratchet into higher gears? Or will it not go past N soon it's way too first?
