Честно говоря, понятия не имею :) Зависит от композиции. Большую часть западной музыки на варгане сыграть не выйдет из-за разного звукоряда \ ладов и проч.
@@vitalyobukhov thanks, I sent him a message, maybe he's busy. I was wondering, how did you learn the norweigan style so well? It is very complex with the open/close melodics. Do you have any advice?
@@alecpayne18 just in case, you can also try to contact him with vkontakte vk.com/drymbar iI's Russian social network where most of makers from ex-ussr countries have accounts, but it will ask you to create account first. I don't have any specific piece of advice about Norwegian tunes. Like, we don't have tradition bearers or people who can truly teach you this specific music here. At least, I don't have such experience. I believe, still there're some positive influences: we have good makers, there are some recordings in Internet / on CDs, there're people who play in melodic style and can give you some advises, plus a small local jaw harp community who can give you an idea on generic music stuff like rhythm, melody and harmony, plus a dancing community (but they're in Swedish music/dances mostly). Basically, I'm amateur player who finds traditional Norwegian music very interesting and trying to do something like other people play but here, as a kitchen-table effort :) It's not a problem to learn thing open/closed and so on stuff at home but it would be a giant leap to me to spend some significant time in Norway learning local music. I wish I could, maybe one day.
I grew up 2 hours from Setesdal, been there many times. This performance made me tap my foot. Approved!
