- In this video I will show you how you can create your own SharePoint Copilot.
SharePoint Copilot will allow users to interact with Copilot in natural language and Copilot will get the information from documents (pdf, word, PPT) stored in SharePoint site.

This was, SIMPLY PUT, AWESOME demo. Thank you! copy this man word for word if you are an Admin and you will get Sharepoint for Co pilot going.
Thank you !
Hello Deepak , that was great - worked like a charm !
the bit about the app registration was also very useful
Hey Deepak, this was really good. I managed to replicate this in my environment and got it working in both SharePoint and Teams. Great Stuff and Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Excellent video. I was able to implement right away. Thank you!
Super Topic
Very detailed video. Help me a lot. Thank you very much!
Glad it helped!
This is what I have been looking for! Just a Q, can we restrict the Copilot engine to make Hybrid Search extended to multiple selected Sharepoint sites and all the files within?
Awesome 🎉❤❤
Thanks 🤗
Hi Deepak, it's amazing and fantastic , it's very very helpful for me as expected my use case, thank you so much
Most welcome 😊
Thanks!
Thank You !
@Deepak please demonstrate copilot for M365 for PowerBI, so we can search report and click report or query KPIs

Thank You !
Hi Deepak, when trying to fix the “authentication not enabled” error, I cannot access the security option, it is greyed out, do you know how to fix this?
I’m pretty sure this happens if you don’t have Dataverse in that environment.
I was recommended to use Blob Storage in order to Vectorize the data, but this seems a lot simpler. I have seen other videos simply pasting the link of the Sharepoint library too, but if I have a fairly large library (2GB worth of files), is this method which I guess is using Graph/Keyword search still okay?
Thank you so much this is very helpful! How do we limit user access to files? Example: I want to create copilot that has access to all company files but different people will be able to access different documents.
Great video. Can we limit the bot access to that specific SharePoint site or allow read-all so the bot can read all files?
Hey Deepak, this is great video. I just read that generative responses will not be supported for the document more than 3 mb. So if we search any specific keywords from these documents then copilot will return the document link or not?
Great Video Deepak , I am blown away !
I've 1 question can I use the copilot to point to a Excel dataset as well ?
Yes you can but one excel at a time.
@@DeepakShrivastava one more Q please . what price do I need to pay for this sharepoint use case ? Is sharepoint or MS teams are free as per office 365 E3 or a E5 license plan ?
check MSFT site for pricing www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot/microsoft-copilot-studio#Pricing
Amazing video, thanks Deepak.
Can you please create a complex copilot plugin video and integrate with copilot itself & sharepoint? We would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance
Thank You. I will in future.
@@DeepakShrivastava Thanks a lot man, keep it up 🫶
How long does it take for a site to index? I am getting nothing back from our Sharepoint Intranet copilot. We have pages that contain document libraries. . .can it not source this way or does it just take time?
Is security and data source updates automatically managed. For example, say the library has different folders for different departments and a sharepoint user is only suppose to have access to documents in his/department. Does copilot automatically handle this? Or by using the library every sharepoint user will have access to those files.
Secondly, does the copilot crawl the data source automatically, when files are created, modified or deleted from the library is this auto updated?
Thanks
Good question, basically behind the scene copilot usage MS graph so whatever security permissions you will have your data will be applicable. Yes crawl happens automatically
I was able to follow all of the steps provided, but for some reason, regardless of what I type into the chat window, it responds with: "I’m sorry, I’m not sure how to help with that. Can you try rephrasing?"
Make sure you enable Generative Answers toggle. check video at 3:31
@@DeepakShrivastavaThank you Deepak, I will check that out
Nice demo. Now if copilot just would find anything on my SharePoint site I would be happy. Im having trouble with copilot not generating any answers based on SharePoint/website or uploaded content. It did a couple of days ago, but with no configuration changes it stopped working yesterday. It just doesnt answer when I put in a question that makes the bot fo down the "On Unknown Intent trigger"
It does go down the tree and touches the "Create generative answers", but does not produce text. If I ad text to the "All other conditions" It will spit out that text.
Is it possible to connect Co-pilot to my company 365 SharePoint without having an Azure account?
Hey Deepak, do you have an issue with the generative answers getting the correct answers, but citing the incorrect document?
I did not but will check. Thank You!
hello! the flow is working but a person has to write exactly what is on the sharepoint list for a response to come. Isn't there a way to establish a "like" to search for items in the list without the requester having to write exactly the same?
To make perfect generative answers capabilities you may need to use azure Open AI studio.
Hi Deepak,
Great content!
Just a question:
I also get the respone: I’m sorry, I’m not sure how to help with that. Can you try rephrasing?
Even tough I have the "Boost conversational coverage with generative answers" checked.
What could be wrong?
Regards
Alexander
Thank you for watching. Are you trying to get responses from documents or list items?
@@DeepakShrivastava Thanks for reply. Im trying to get responses from documents.
@twangt it should work. Try with other documents to see if that works?
I tried to follow all the steps but when I post a question I get this reply "Escalating to a live agent is not currently configured for this bot, however this is where the bot could provide information about how to get in touch with someone another way". Can you advise if I am missing something?
I have a copilot license and it is still asking me for 60 days free trial for publishing it in website ( sharepoint ) ??
Hi sir
What if my account does not have access to app registration and only admin has and he creates and shares the client app id and secret
Will I be able to get the answers ?
Hi, Where is this Answer variable created? And how is it used.
You don’t need to create if you are use default topic.
How to get sharepoint access to read files, even after manual authentication is successful
You need to give Graph API access in azure as I shown in video.
Can it read through pdf files??
Yes it can.
I want to fetch information with bot from private website which is live
