You are Malfurion Stormrage, arch druid of the Night Elves and protector of Kalimdor. A great prophecy has foretold the return of the Burning Legion, who seek to destroy Azeroth once and for all.
For 10,000 years you have roamed the Emerald Dream, awaiting the day for your return to lead your people against the demons. However, you feel that the world has changed much during your absence. Despite Nordrassil being heavily guarded and Illidan the Betrayer sealed deep within his prison, you sense something terribly wrong that threatens your people's survival from the coming invasion.
Your mind is left in doubt, and the Prophecy's fulfillment draws near. Will you make sacrifices to ensure Azeroth's survival from the Burning Legion? Find out as you play Malfurion's Quest, the epic finale in Turnro's series of Warcraft 3 campaigns.

There will be one, but the creator decided to make the evil one first.
Yes but it's incomplete at the moment. Last I checked the "good" path has some finished levels in the current version, but if you want a complete story, this is the only path with it.

Though, I do think it's dumb they label arcane as simply "magic". It's stupid how it's unspecified because even what the druids are doing is "magic".
Writing is not the strong suit of these campaigns.
So the creator decides to make the Evil path first. Interesting.

he once completed this whole thing, but possibly wanted to redo it for some reason

With title like "Malfurion drinks and claims his destiny" I was expecting him to gather 100k gold (while being pissed that Illydian sent his best warriors to gather gold) and later drink undead blood to defeat paladin god Uther.
...but that's okay too :P

Logic is not the strong suit of these campaigns, afterall this is the same timeline where the Legion is democratic. But if you think this is nonsensical, then play the first campaign in this saga, Adventures of Rowan the Wise, because at least the other chapters try to be serious. The first one does not, and yet is still canon to these campaigns for some reason.
I mean this is in canon as well.
They banned all Arcane and denounced it as evil, while 100% embraced Druidic arts.
Taking over 10000 years and a boatload of world ending calamities before they finally decided to accept that no single brunch of magic is truly evil.
@@Stormraider821 Nobody said anything about arcane magic here, just that fel magic isn't the only magic that can be used for evil purposes, but Malfurion's dialog suggests he only thinks Fel magic is bad in that moment. That's what we're calling out, not what is and isn't canon

Funny enough, it's revealed in the Good path that Corrupted Creatures attacked those villages and Illidan's forces were spotted and got blamed for it.

what if arthas does have a good paladin path which will have him become new king of lordaeron if his father dies of old age while jaina marries him becoming queen of lordaeron instead of being corrupted by frostmourne.

I have played this part of campaign almost 10 years ago,how time passed since then and the good Malfurion is still not out,i am not sure if ever will bee out,the autor used to keep updating them,sadly i wish to play again,but i don't feel to play w3 anymore.

The "good" path has some levels complete in the current version as far as I'm aware, but it's incomplete as of this comment. If you want a full story though then you're technically correct, the "evil" path is the only path.

looks that malfurion's quest have a lot of items. consider use your malfurion bag(second hero) or its just a storage without any bonuses to hero? can be useful for saving scrolls or smth
If we could give an origin for those fountains consumed by Malfurion with very unique properties , what could be a good origin for them? maybe Old gods or something completely new?

Malfurion's Quest by Turno. It's the sequel to Resurrection of the Scourge, which was a sequel to Jeopardy of the Horde, which was a sequel to The Adventures of Rowan the Wise. So far Xral has only covered Resurrection of the Scourge and the beginnings of this chapter
Malfurion and his inner voice reminds me PoP: Two Thrones - Prince also had inner voice, which was sinister and had lust for more power

I havent played this one yet but i have a feeling the author has a hard-on for Illidan and wants to turn him into a "tragic Hero" that is misunderstood or something when in reality Illidan was a villain in both RoC and TFT lol.

are you talking about TBC expansion for WoW or the worse nonsense called Legion expansion? Because Illidan in canon died at end of TFT (Arthas literally claimed his soul in Frostmourne), in TBC he was revived because Metzen was coked up and he "forgot" which characters died and lived in WC3, for Legion its same thing, retcon after stupid retcon so we cant consider them canon at all. the RPG manuals for Vanilla WoW however state that Lady Vashj and Kael escaped with their lives at end of TFT so there is that. @@thepieofyourlife4799

@@thepieofyourlife4799 He wasn't in Reign of Chaos either, just a neutral wildcard at best. He didn't really become a villain until The Frozen Throne and even that is debatable depending on your view, same with his later appearance in The Burning Crusade, Legion and various other source material retconning him from a magic addict to a "Whatever it takes" hero, so it's weird OP is saying this like it isn't as already the case.

Didn't he only use the Eye of Sargeras to destroy LK, he didn't even try and absorbed it if he indeed was magic drunk.
As for the original lore for the war before the Sundering, I don't know how he acted back then.
