My mother nursed her own dying mother throughout her pregnancy with me. Her one wish was for her mum to live long enough to meet me. She ended up dying 5 days before I was born. She chose my middle name after her mother... She thinks we really did meet, because there are all these little things that are identical to her mum, from hating zucchini to crafts I taught myself without telling my mum that turned out to be her mother's favourites, to starting to go grey at the same age, in the same unusual place that MY mother never had.... I think we did meet, and she told me what to do to keep my mum safe ❤
