SS,I remember always commenting about removing your old,unhealthy and aluminium vessels hence its so good to see that the utensils you are using are much better utensils but Pls Avoid that Aluminium type Bartan in which you made sambar as sour things should be avoided in such aluminium types vessels due to the reaction of sour ingredient added in it and cooking for soo long! Now It striked me as I am suggesting you that When Aluminium Vessels need to be whitened or cleaned few lime pieces are added especially inside Aluminium Cooker on the side of the vessels of rice/dal vessels kept to cook inside.You try doing this and you will understand what I am saying as the lime pieces getting cooked inside will make the inside of cooker look crystal clear vanishing all the dirt and stains inside Which Means the inside of the vessel has melted or has reacted with lime to give that clean effect Hence this shows that if Lime or Raw Mango/Amchur or Tamarind is put directly in the aluminium vessel it will react with the metal and affect the Bones,Joints e.t.c hence Never Ever Add Sour Ingredients Directly in such Vessels ir else Better to Use thick Bottomed Steel Utensils for Cooking especially for direct Tempering/Tadka! Watching Sambhavna and Avinash is somehow so therapeutic for me, you both elevate my mood! But Sambhavna cooking is another level, intuition+ confidence. P.S.- never add salt while pressure cooking dal as it hinders the dal from cooking well. Add salt while giving tadka. Also add appropriate water because excess water won't be absorbed by the dal and it doesn't become soft.

Hello, I enjoy watching ur videos. When u are boil any type of dal pls make sure you shouldn't add salt and thus will slow down the process of boiling the dal. It will remain hard. If boiling without salt it will boil fast and mashed.

We south induans never cook vegitables in the cooker.we boil vegitable seperately and r then add it to dal. Try that method sambar will taste very differently👍

After cooking dal cook veggies in dal only til one whisle(or else all veggies get mashed in sambar which doesn't taste good)Just add sambar masala into the cooked veggies and 2 tomatoes to replace imli while cooking veggies.. at the end add mustard and curry leaves tadka in ghee.. corriander leaves.. no need of all other masalas and ginger garlic paste..

tadka is done in sunflower oil or coconut oil, not in ghee
