Sidi Hamza Yussuf is a walking encyclopedia of Islamic knowledge and knowledge in general. His itinerary is examplary as a revert who started from zéro idea about Islam to proof of Isam (hujja) as AlGhazzali was in his time. Fortunately, Shaykh Hamza has come in an era when human science and technology are at their peak, so he has profited from this progress to advance the view on our religion.

I love the content you guys post over here. It’s always so enlightening and thought provoking. I pray that Allah Ta’ala will make things clear for the other guy and that he would accept God with full certainty. Seeing his confusion makes me feel so sad. But also seeing his whole hearted effort and journey in search of truth makes me hopeful that one day he will succeed, Insha Allah.
Only scholar I trust. All of my visions are aligned with his. I think he is not talking about everything, he is wise and trying to keep it more simple. Metaphysical views are in him and I would love to talk with him.
Clarification: the name 'Sham' has not included Israel. Specifically because there was no 'Israel' until 1948. No Arabs refer to the Occupation entity as part of Sham.
Those are all modern states he mentioned. So he is referring to what people know of today as the "standard map", so they understand the general geographic area. The point is to describe location, not list the empires or states of Sham through all time.
Yeah but since october 7th i don't think anybody would get lost if he said Palestine so lauren has a point . Even historically at that point it was called Palestine formally by the Romans . @@oberlinio
I heard sheikh hamza first time around 30 years ago. He was i come from a time there was no internet. The fist time I heard him he had a profound impact on my life.
For the interviewer, a great resource for understanding the 'problem of evil' as per the Islamic understanding would be a lecture by Jeffrey Lang 'Purpose of Life'. (It's available on RUclips.) Or read his book 'Even Angels Ask'.
I agree, the Quran contains simple meanings to make it easy for the person having average mindset but when we come accross this Ayah mentioned in the Quran that ponder upon my creation Whenever I came accross this translation that good men will be sitting on couches in heaven, I wondered that how come when the world has become so advanced then there the men in heaven would be sitting on couches. Are we supposed to go in less advanced time. But logic helped me to understand that the Quran was reveled to the people ,who could only understand the Quran through the time relatable examples From there I understood that how much depth every word in Qurain contains and only Shaikh Hamza Yousuf like people can explain Islam and Quran from a very strong philosophical perspective.
At 2:21:14, I wish someone could convey to the seeker, Robert Kuhn, about Sanusi's (RA) argument about the necessity of God, namely: 1) everything around us is changing 2) anything that's changing had a beginning 3) anything that had a beginning must have had an originator.
Great interview. The individual soul originates from the Immaterial Spirit, similar to how one lamp lights another. This process does not involve any splitting or fragmentation of the soul.
Imam Hamaza is one of the most amazing people to make Dawa for anyone looking to know Islam. He has the best of both world. I hope he can get one more time with Jordan Peterson because Jordan is such a good man and he is confused and being deceived with Zionists.
I refuse to watch Peterson after watching him for years. I can’t stomach the fact that he condemned an entire population to literal hell. Showed his face and I don’t care how hard he tries to soothe his way back to his Muslim viewers with his word play. Once a racist always a racist.
@@qissaofislam Just FYI, im about 43 minutes in and after it cuts away and comes back there are some audio sync problems that seem to last the rest of the interview. It would be a shame not to fix this, as this is already one of the best most important interviews with Hamza i've come across and i have seen many of his over the years.

The person you calling “ not a scholar “, changed atleast 10000 lives.
But look at you “ A worthless human being eating the flesh of scholars “ 🧠👈🏻

See that those states -- Israel, Lebanon, Syria -- are born in same decade by (haphazard?) colonial design primarily.
Yeah but since october 7th i don't think anybody would get lost if he said Palestine so lauren has a point .
Even historically at that point it was called Palestine formally by the Romans .

For those interested, the problem of evil is addressed by the Quran in (not just) Surah Kahf. Specifically the story of Musa (AS) al-Khidr (AS).
"Thank God for the design of our nose, otherwise we would both have trouble holding up our glasses" - Hamza Yusuf
❤️
❤️ shiek hamza
🫀❤️
For the interviewer, a great resource for understanding the 'problem of evil' as per the Islamic understanding would be a lecture by Jeffrey Lang 'Purpose of Life'. (It's available on RUclips.) Or read his book 'Even Angels Ask'.
I agree, the Quran contains simple meanings to make it easy for the person having average mindset but when we come accross this Ayah mentioned in the Quran that ponder upon my creation
Whenever I came accross this translation that good men will be sitting on couches in heaven, I wondered that how come when the world has become so advanced then there the men in heaven would be sitting on couches. Are we supposed to go in less advanced time.
But logic helped me to understand that the Quran was reveled to the people ,who could only understand the Quran through the time relatable examples
From there I understood that how much depth every word in Qurain contains and only Shaikh Hamza Yousuf like people can explain Islam and Quran from a very strong philosophical perspective.
At 2:21:14, I wish someone could convey to the seeker, Robert Kuhn, about Sanusi's (RA) argument about the necessity of God, namely:
1) everything around us is changing
2) anything that's changing had a beginning
3) anything that had a beginning must have had an originator.

👍🏻
I refuse to watch Peterson after watching him for years. I can’t stomach the fact that he condemned an entire population to literal hell. Showed his face and I don’t care how hard he tries to soothe his way back to his Muslim viewers with his word play. Once a racist always a racist.
Your so kind. Jordan and this interviewer have the same look and tendency in attitude
