Manhwas have the most confusing and generic sounding names of all... You've got like 5 people with virtually identical names and they get called by their surnames meanwhile the text to speech or whatever AI they use pronounces names slightly different every time and it gets confusing af. I can never remember all the character by like 30 minutes in and I sat through a 20 hour long video the other day, wasn't even sure what was going on half the time and I kept having to ask myself "Who tf is this again, are they new???" I like when they use more generalized terms instead of names like calling him "the main character" or "the protagonist" and "protagonists father/girlfriend/whatever", it makes it so much easier to understand the story and I wish more channels would adopt nicknaming characters because so many characters look extremely similar between manhwas and they don't exactly have unique voices that make them easier to distinguish so using generic names just isn't enough when videos are multiple hours and multiple parts long...
This is almost like me playing skyrim. Side quest and lvl up everything, and then when I start the main story, I am almost 1 shotting everything with whatever I attack with.
