Our weather here in UK has been extremely hot over the last couple of weeks. It makes it very hard to do much and so I've just been trying to do a bit of writing in the mornings, before it really gets warm; especially with my ongoing big story. After your words of encouragement the last time we chatted, I felt more motivated again. I haven't done an awful lot but it seems to be starting to flow more and I've had some fresh ideas for new stories too. How's things where you live, has it been ok? Water is a tranquilizer. It relaxes you, I enjoyed this walk along the stream. It is nice to see people taking their exercising seriously. The presence of greenery adds to the ambiance. Thank You Nathan
What a beautiful walk, thank you Nathan! I feel like I should grab my sneakers and go for a power walk along the stream. And the map intro along with the subtitles were a very nice addition 👍🏾. At each point when you would look up or down the stream, it was absolutely stunning! And it was really cute when the baby’s bubbles flowed into view too. Loved everything about this video, well done! 💜
Evening walks are my favorite, Nathan! This one is so pretty and soothing. And I do love how the various pieces of art are lit at night - or, like the heart and the fountain, best viewed at night! So lovely! Thank you.
Watchers, please note a few things: 1) No garbage. Not a single piece. Not even a cigarette butt! 2) No Graffiti. Not even a single tag! 3) No scary, aggressive, or even rude people! 4) No traffic jams of any kind. 5) No stupid high-heeled shoes worn by Korean women! 6) NO fat people! This is what you will experience across Seoul, and not just in Nowon! Edit: 13:29 - look - they even give you an emergency ladder to escape the river channel if it floods quickly, and you can't make it to the proper stairway in time!
The subtitles were fun.🙂 I am impressed by how safe this route seems. I live in a much smaller city & there's nowhere safe to walk in the evenings. It's nice to know there are places where that's not the norm. Thanks for the video!
I live in a forest, last year I went into town and was regularly beaten up. It is nice for me to see a place that looks safe, where you can walk around and feel like it's a treat!
What a beautiful evening walk you took us on Nathan. Everywhere is so lush and green. Here in England everywhere is parched and dry. We have been having temperatures of 39/40 degrees and still no sign of rain. There have been many fires 🔥. I love your walks as I feel I am there with you sightseeing. This Neighbourhood is full of Residency Complexes its my 1st time seeing an area in Seoul with complexes. The Residents of the neighbourhood are so lucky they have a got such beautiful trail with stream to hangout/walk. 이게 자연하천임.청계천은 인공하천이고. 청계천도 애초에 이렇게 자연하천, 생태하천으로 복원하려했으나 시간이 오래 걸린다고 포기하고 인공하천으로 만든 것임.
죄송합니다만, 청계천은 조선이 건국시기에 만들어진 인공하천입니다. 원래 물이 흐르지안음.. 홍수조절, 하수도의 목적으로 조성 .
