Wow Jenn, my week was just like yours!!! My husband went out of town and I had all these grand plans of getting stuff done & then I had very scary medical issues that completely derailed me mentally and emotionally and left me drained, and our power went out (we are in a well, so no power means no water) and I, like you, had to give myself some grace and realize that things were not going to turn out as planned. SOMETHING definitely was in retrograde and snowballing. 😅 I feel your pain! I totally agree with the need for refresh! Oh my, it was SOOOOO ADORABLE seeing how excited Oliver was to see Tim. That’s a definite “Hi Dad soup” moment I think!

Hey Jenn! That looks like an Apple Studio Display. If it is, it has speakers. 😊 You should be able to select which sound source the audio comes from using the sound menu (speaker icon) on the top menu.

If it’s eyeshadow try using an oil … baby oil works great to break down eye makeup , just let it soak on your nails for a bit then try to rub it off .. 😊

Un-asked for runner advice as a runner with a chronic bad back. Activate your glutes and lift. Many new runners don’t realize the importance of strength training. Highly recommend going to see a PT and to follow specified training for you and your body. Way to get through it!

Saaaaaame shredding fear instilled here with us! 😂 And it piles up. We have BOXES of paperwork in the basement that needs shredding. It's an entire situation. 😂❤

Tim, take care of your back!!! I didn’t take my back seriously until it was too late! I’m on 4 months of recovery so far from a herniated disc that hit my spinal nerve on both sides. It has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through! Pain Pain Pain! Nerve pains even down to my feet. Still can’t sit down, I mostly stand, sleep has been almost impossible for months, and when I lay down for rest, it eventually increases the pains. I’m finally feeling some relief but I’m about at 40-50% recovered it feels. Recovery could take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. A back or spine injury is life changing. One moment I was fine, then my life was upside down. Thank God, in Jesus’ name, I’m healing. Care for yourself buddy, and keep me in your prayers guys. 🫂🙏🏻✝️
Jen, I use to rearrange my room all the time as a kid/teenager. I’d spend all day on a sat or Sunday taking the bed apart so I could move it and my furniture around ( in a 11x11 room😂. So I get that. It’s good to rearrange!! Love the vlogs!! Don’t worry about missing a few!!

My car engine broke last week and I had to spend $5000 getting it fixed. Soooooo yes; everything is falling apart!

I love rearranging rooms! I feel so accomplished when i move stuff around and deep clean! My husband laughs at me bc I change the house around so much. He says he never knows what he's going to come home to!

I've got a Mac Studio, great choice! You'll notice a big difference compared to your old one
The Apple Studio Display has very nice speakers built in! 😊 Just check your settings to make sure the display speakers are selected.

As a military wife and a mom I can vouch for the fact that when the husband leaves, it’s freaking stressful and 💩 often hits the fan so you deserve more than one treat, Jenn!
Also I would try pure acetone for the nails. And not sure if white vinegar would work but it helps with other things, albeit very stinky 😂
Hand sanitizer gets a lot of stuff of my hands sometimes. Might be worth a try for your nails!

For the speakers, if not already you do have the Bluetooth you're using now, you can plug in a stereo speaker system with a headphone jack. I've been there, use at least a 2.0 or better speaker setup.
Hi! You can set the audio to come out of the monitor! The monitors have speakers. It's in the Sound Settings on the Studio😄
Maybe I'm uneducated, but could you not put the computer down as a tax write-off? You need it to work and you're essentially running a small business by being contracted through RUclips as a creator. I'm just curious. I've heard of people buying things for use on their channels and then writing them off during tax season as a business expense.

The monitor does have built in speakers that sound really good, just have to switch the sound to the studio monitor from the Mac Studio in settings

Three seems to be the magic number when all sorts of things go wrong!! But the question is, sometimes it's hard to determine what the 3 specific things are if lots of little things seem to be going "wrong" too.
And, there's DEFINITELY something in the air or something going on to make these things happen.... had 3 "bad" things happen in my family pretty much the same time as this video was filmed. Hopefully that's it and we don't get double-whammied....

I'd say rubbing alcohol or make a sugar scrub with sugar and some olive oil. My son took an art class last year and he worked with charcoal a lot and the sugar scrub I made him seemed to help. Congratulations on the run Tim! I'm doing my first Disney 5k in February. I'm a little nervous because I'm not a runner (although I know I don't have to run the whole thing😂) and I've never done one before but hey it will be a goal to smash🎉. Okay so I'm the same way with shredding paper 😂. I legit have a paper shredder in my living room and when I get the mail in the shredder it goes😂....plus it's oddly satisfying. to get the black off your hands i recommend castile soap and scrubbing with an old toothbrush you don't plan to use anymore. this is what i use to get sharpie off my skin

I would rearrange my room every few months! I love change and it would make me feel so good to feel like my room is different and fresh. Then I got diagnosed with ADHD as an adult haha!

Soak your feet in apple cider vinegar and a half a cup of Epsom salt. And warm water. Your feet will feel great after. My foot doctor told me to do this.

You should purchase the MacBook Pro instead and then just buy the large monitor. I have mine dual screened with the docking cord. It allows mobility and then the large screen when at the desk. Plus sound is clear through the computer directly. Just an idea that works on all fronts! 😊

I was just wondering, you mentioned in a previous home vlog about going to a monster truck show, I was wondering if that video is going to come out at some point I really enjoy watching your vlogs. I learn a lot about Florida, and the different types of things to do there, and travel. Your family is amazing and you and Tim are both amazing parents.
