The PB Swiss slotted screwdrivers have parallel tips. If you get the right size they're a nicer fit and less likely to slip out. They also don't damage the fastener, if that's important. Screwdrivers for gunsmithing are often made with parallel tips too.
In my opinion a screwdriver is one of the most underrated tools. I thing a good set of screwdrivers is just as important as sockets wrenches etc. striking cap screwdrivers are important to me. So knowing which ones are the best is important. Great video and great demonstration.
Was I wrong to think he was going to "STRIKE" the striking cap screwdrivers at some point?
"Tiffany's box for men." Lol , that put it in perfect perspective for me! I don't own Tiffany merchandise, but everybody knows the significance of the little blue box . 😂
Shawna Carmack see now you understand a little bit Tiffany's boxes for men
nice compare. I hadn't seen the PB swiss tang thru style. Another to consider for viewers would be the vessel screwdrivers. They are like all 3 of those screwdrivers combined in shape and quality if you are looking for an in between. They have several versions - the red ones are the tang thrus. Thanks!
Agreed, I have the funky looking ball grip vessels. those tips hold up incredibly well.
Those tips don't have a coating on them most likely, the shafts and tips are chromed then the tips are vapor blasted down to bare metal and probably heat treated to some extent.(when the tip starts looking lighter, is basically just like polishing it. I'm an electrician so srewdrivers are to me what a ratchet is to junkie or any other mechanic. I've tried about all, and the PB Swiss are the shit. The parallel tips won't break any easier than any other driver, may even hold up better sheer wise plus they just work better than a normal wedge ground tip. They use a spring steel which is flexible but hard without being brittle, kind of like a perfect in between of normal and impact sockets.
Hey junkie, random question. How do you clean the top of your tool box? I have the same top, everything i try leaves shit behind due to the truck liner being so rough.
Hes secret for clean tools and tool boxes is not using them at all.
Thanks for the vid. I think it’s almost mandatory to have included the Wiha models either micro or soft finish. Vessel is nice as is Felo with the wood handles. I haven’t tried the PB Swiss but I will thx
The Vessel Impacto screwdrivers have a built in cam so when you strike the handle it actually turns the tip 1/4 turn counter clockwise. its like an impact driver built into a regular philips 2 or 3
Great video Justin, would love to see another box tour and also a look at what setup you have in the truck for tools, take care buddie 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Felo has a really soft but ergonomic grip and wood handle sets also.
can you please do a video comparing the new wera green lasertip phillips and the swiss phillips
How do the snappy fit screws compared to the pb Swiss?
In Hillbilly Circles the striking cap screwdrivers are known as combination screwdriver / chisel sets !
I just wanted to say somethingbabout the markings of the sizes on screwdrivers and that they will vanish with time and use wether you hit them with a hammer or not, and that the markings doesnt really matter that theyre there, because youll get to know which screwdriver is what size by eye with use 😉
Vessel Megadora hand impact extractor screwdrivers?
it's only been 9 seconds, and i'm already very much emotionally involved in this
Wowowow!!!! Really?
Hi. I use beta striking cap. Very good value for money!
Cannot find this PB SWISS TOOLS screwdriver on their website
Where did you get the PB Swiss screwdrivers? I have only been able to find the non-striking cap version.
Christopher Partain I bought them off of Amazon you could also go to PB Swiss website had to USA link
thank you!
Just found your channel. Def subscribed because of the great reviews and not giving a fuck about language. Keep up the vids!
It's a shame phillips didn't introduce their pozidriv screws first. They don't cam out and would of become the global standard. They are now pretty much standard in European manufacturing because it makes far more sense to have the tool torque limited not the screw head. Also widely used in-flat pack furniture Worldwide.
Vessel PH JIS screwdrivers now fit Japanese cross head and phillips. JIS screws don't cam out as long as you don't shear them using phillips screwdrivers.
Don't overlook the Japanese made Vessel Megador Impacta. Like an impact driver the head turns 12% when hit on the handle.
I standardized on PB Swiss sometime back.
what about the screwdriver behind you on the wall the green and black handle right above the cutters how does that handle? Could you show me a video
Swiss precision quality, no need to know more...
Hi Snap on Junkie! I would recommend you to test the Bahco striking cap screwdrivers! They are outstanding with great grips! And real good tips! 😊
Good video. I think screw drivers are worth spending some extra dollars on. Too many times a poor quality one ruins the faster and itself.
get a Vessel Megadora it works on Phillips or JIS screws
Brilliant work! Keep it up!
good job bro keep up the great work
Too bad the nepros doesn't fit as well. Was about to purchase them.
PB Swiss makes impressive Allen wrenches or as we from Europe would call them Hex keys.
There isn't anything on the market that even come close to that quality.
Alex Martinovic eklind and bondhus make good hex tools.
America uses both names interchangeably. I haven't heard anyone consistently call them Allen wrenches. I think we usually use what pops into our minds first, or go with what the other person understands. If someone doesn't know what an Allen wrench is, we would use the description of the name "hex" because everyone understands what a hexagon is.
Tolerances are not what you’d think for the money, at least in their allen wrenches...
I think wera beats PBswiss in innovation. The wera hex keys can take alot more torque without stripping, and are between 5-30 dollars for the complete set.
Fantastic video! Keep it up!
so junkie you here about the new impacts milwaukee is coming out with 1400 pounds of nut busting torque
nut busting
great video my friend keep up the great work
LOL, "it was on the internet so I dont know if I can believe that" - I hope they move RUclips off of the internet soon, I really want to believe you.
Kevin Gibson haha
Philips head v flat OR cross-cut heads - some people actually call these "normal" screwdrivers!!!.
try the channel lock series!
Have you tried the Klein Demolition driver? I have some I use for work and I abuse the fuck out of them.
I didn't even know you can do that with a screw driver.
The Snap On Junkie Isn't showing much Snap On Lately?
Wiha make fucking good screwdrivers.
Hey it says striking cab screwdrivers in the title
Ethan Devlin yeah I'm not very good at spelling I fucked up

Any particular reason why you feel it necessary to cuss so much?
IM FUUUKKKKKING GOOD THANK YOU! :D
IF YOU'RE HOT TURN A FAN ON MY FRIEND, YOU GOTTA HAVE A SNAP ON FAN DON'T YA...LOL
2:10 That's what she said.
You couldn’t pay me to strike the nepros
Toptul brother
Pronounce them Vera! Pleaaase
Tomasz Kozien: no, that is wrong. The pronunciation of W in German is closer to English V than English W but if you say Vera it is completely wrong! If you say W with English pronunciation people (Germans) will know what you mean, if you say Vera they will think you are using a woman's name.
