    Having a set of pliers that are perfectly suited for this task is a must have. The pliers act as a heat sink and pull the heat out as fast as possible. Cleaning everything is also imperative to a proper job. Great video...

      There are a few suggestions for getting a good result
      do not attempt to do this until you are sure what you are doing - the acid can burn your skin
      check the voltage first - there may be a kaput cell which would waste your time.
      Check the battery fluid.
      attempt to fully charge the battery.
      (I discovered about these and more from Jons Mender Guide website )

      @@carnuroalnanda5241 check the fluid?!! Not even close to relevant!..these are lithium cells, not old school car batteries! Even auto batts are sealed now. Please promote your site elsewhere

    hello, I have one battery pack that is made of 8 batterys, is a 9.6 v 1800 mAh but it has 3 wires and i can't fine it anywere, is it posible to build one?

    • @Batteriesinaflash
      @Batteriesinaflash  8 лет назад +1

      +Abel Huet You can definitely build a pack like this. The 3 wire could be there for a couple of reasons. Smaller voltage for another function or battery monitoring. Remove the outer plastic of the battery pack and find the cells that you need. Then simple rebuild pack with same configuration and reuse connector from old pack.

    don't u use the protector pcb on this 18650 pack...?

    • @Batteriesinaflash
      @Batteriesinaflash  7 лет назад

      Depends on the 18650 battery. Some of them have PCB built into them and some do not. If it does not and you want to add one to the entire battery, that will work too. Make sure that the board is designed for the battery pack characteristics that you have made.

    Please cut off the music. It is distracting and makes it difficult to hear you clearly. Otherwise, thanks for a good video.

    using soldering iron to connect batteries is a big no no.. batteries should be spot welded..

    • @Batteriesinaflash
      @Batteriesinaflash  4 года назад +2

      That is why I used tab and soldered them and not the batteries directly. I agree which is why I explain that in the video.

    Did I miss something or did he completely skip connecting the bottom terminals?🤨⁉

    • @Batteriesinaflash
      @Batteriesinaflash  11 месяцев назад

      You are correct. The bottom connection portion of the video was skipped by mistake. I will be following up this video soon with a better version of it. I actually have a cleaner way to DIY users to do this at home that will yield really great battery packs. Stay tuned.. Click the bell for notifications and subscribe.

    Jesus this his first time doing this?

    • @Batteriesinaflash
      @Batteriesinaflash  11 месяцев назад +2

      This was not my first time however I have professional equipment and I tried to make the pack based on what someone would have laying around the house or easily obtain. So Im making the pack in an unfamiliar way compared to the way we normally produce packs.
