This is my GOTY. A single player game, no monetary cash grabs, no bugs, beautiful main character, detailed and pleasantly disgusting monsters, exciting and FUN combat, and no real dei involvement. GOTY by a LONG shot so far.

Kim did say in the recent press conference they plan on putting in paid suits so micro transactions won’t be nonexistent for long. But at least they are justified to include it for all the other reasons you listed. I’ll buy anything from them. 🙌🏾

This game was such a surprise. The Combat is just as good as Sekiro, but of course not as hard. Way more than just a pretty face. I am on my 3rd play through.
I'm in the 5th and once it hits PC.....I'm gonna buy it again 🥲😂

@@BushidoXBrown I don't think their goal was to make a souls game with that level of difficulty. This game had a ton of casual streamers that don't play souls playing at launch, being able to finish the game is huge for that casual type player.

Stellar Blade is awesome-I stepped away to prepare for Shadow of the Erdtree and now I’m hooked on more glorious Elden Ring-but Stellar Blade is so good I’ll keep supporting the studio and complete the game, Eve is one of my new fave protagonists.

I want more tackey and Raven. So, it would be awesome to see some DLC that focus on them. Maybe Raven's story and how she ended where she did or maybe tackey and how her and eve got as close as they did. There's alot this ip can offer. Glad it did so well, im starting my 3 playthrough and i haven't gotten bored of the game yet.

The outfits have been really well made hyped to see what else they drop in game kinda want to see them add sword skins also
They really got a lot of things rights. It wasn't set up as super easy and gave enough crutches for the weekend warriors in tachy mode and WB pumps so it covered pretty much everyone.
This is the true "inclusiveness" that those developers who were so against stellar blade in the first place should have been thinking about
I have 400 hours over that game...I am very familiar with all the lore and all collectibles and it's all worth it.❤❤❤ I'm waiting for the new Astro Boy...already preordered it.
I don't want any other costume from other characters. I just want more variants and more designs of Planet Diving Suits. They are fit for Eve the most and iconic. Yummy latex.
The red planet diving suit was fire. The best butt shot in the game for me
I would absolutely love a DLC or a sequel. This game is soo good man!!
Sequel is most likely gonna happen and I just hope they are gonna polish the combat a bit more even though it's quite solid.
I really hope shift up would talk to square Enix to bring Nier Atamata 2b to Stellar Blade as a playable character.

the estimates are this game cost 50-80 million to develop so when making 70 million plus getting Sony exclusive money its most likely making profit with every sale now.

I'm on my way to platinum with this game and I usually don't care for trophies but it's so good plus I just beat raven on hard for the suit
The raven fight was my favorite fight in the game. The mood, the music, the action, it was all great.

I saw a bunch of Xbots laughing at Stellar Blade selling 1M copies and discounting all the reasons you mentioned as to why this is impressive and a success. I have to laugh because they forgot that Hellblade 2 is a disaster on Steam & the game definitely didn't sell any new Xbox consoles or grow game pass.
I love this game. So far, the only Playstation game I bought this year and might be the only game I spend money the whole year for my PS5. I'm getting close to platinum it, catching 20 fish is the only challenge for me to get that platinum.

I wonder how a deal for this game (new studio, new ip, exclusive) would work.... Cash after release? Cash after reaching milestones? Cash during development? Higher margin for a time frame? I also wonder if there are acquisition clausules if successful.. And so on....
They could go the Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden: Sigma route. Ninja Gaiden was Xbox exclusive and they even helped in the development of the game. Later they added some content changes that name to Ninja Gaiden Sigma and it came out on PlayStation. Stellar Blade could go that route
I ended up really loving this game. I put over 100 hours in it played it for two months straight from the day of release. I just loved it and then I feel so spoiled. Getting free updates free skins. For the very first time in a long time, I feel like there’s a developing company that actually cares about its players. I will definitely buy a DLC. I don’t really buy micro transactions for any game. But you support them I will if they decide to put some extra cool stuff in it or even the fusion suit Where you can basically just have tacky activated the entire time, but the new move sets
if the outfits can provide different abilities with special weapons and skills, it would be fun.

YES AND VERY ON POINT ON THE MICRO TRANSACTIONS. Since it is a single player story mission, DLC and skins is not so much of a mtx unlike other games that have not proven anything yet and they are already selling BP and MTX on pre order.Would definitely drop premium money on this game or even buy another copy of the game and start over just to support the studio. They also developed Nikke the mobile game so i'm really hoping for some spicy costums in the future if possible!!! And new IPs that lean towards beautiful female protagonist or a group of female protagonist just to piss of people that hate!!!

I love everything about this game. From the 14yo type jokes, To it’s marketing and gameplay. Shift up made a game the right way.
I don't want to wait to August for photo mode. I take photos while I'm playing and exploring. I'll be done casual exploring and pretty much done playing by then without any incentive to play more.
honestly the only thing holding this game back from being truly great was the story writing, parts of the main story and side quest being a bit lackluster, the ending could have been more of a twist if they didnt hammer you over head with so many sus foreshadowing moments.

I had an issue playing and finishing new game + and didnt get the trophy. Anyone else? Do i need to decline Alans offer in the final mission?
There are 2 mane endings to get the platinum. You must achieve 100% affinity with Lilly on these 2. If you don't get 100% there is a third ending.
If you want the naytiba trophy then yes you have to decline sadly
There are three endings. Each is required for the platinum.
@@bubble0721 no not the trophy from the main trophy branch. I am speaking of the trophy branch from the recent update. There is a trophy you get for finishing a new game+. I did finish newgame+ but the tophy didnt appear.
