    Can you demonstrate how your seat box fixes on please? My inception has a bar across for the footplate and tilts forward. I can't get it level any suggestions?

    I couldn’t work out how the straps at the bottom of the bag worked. They had both Velcro and a buckle. Wonder if you could do a quick video on how they are attached. Thanks.

      I'll see what I can do video wise. Maybe when I do a 1 year on vid or something. But for what it's worth I have the velcro straps secured around the bottom bar of the handle section . The hold quite well and I put quite a bit of weight in their too.

    Still unsure if to get Matrix Trolley or the MAP X4 model. The MAP trolley is on back order since beginning of October with information from MAP stating due in February 2022 at earliest. Also heard from one or two tackle shops that MAP are bringing out a New trolley. Some Tackle shops are removing the MAP one from their websites as the current one being discontinued. Again asked MAP who said no truth in rumour but that they reserve the right to change items. Must say I am somewhat dissapointed with MAP with their general vagueness when dealing with the paying public. Myself and a couple of Club mates leaning towards buying the Matrix as waiting time is to long. Good presentation.

      I shared your dilemma. Necessity though meant I needed a trolly and matrix was the only one I could get. If your willing to wait it might be best as the map one could be better if it's a new version. If it's the same one then I think that there isn't a lot between map and matrix. Saying that if they were in stock I'd of gone for a map one myself.

      @@fishingbitesandbanter293 Thats the problem we got. Go now and have a good Trolley or wait and have a generally better engineered and stronger trolley. My current 4 wheel shuttle had been amazing during the last 4 years but has dropped behind the aforementioned models. One issue I have with the Matrix model is the fact that the wheels tend to wobble (as demonstrated by Ben of Angling for U) which he cured by adding a shim to each axle which made wheels behave them selves. Good luck mate. I will let you know the outcombe of our dillema.

    I found your channel and this video helped me put mine together, however, have you had any issues using it, the left hand wheel nuts come undone as the threads are clockwise but the wheel rotates anti clockwise which causes the wheel nut to unscrew.

    • @fishingbitesandbanter293
      @fishingbitesandbanter293  Год назад

      No issues with mine. All the screws do work loose after a while but I just keep a check every 4 or 5 uses .

    So at the end of the day would you have a Prestons , MAP or matrix as on the market for one now and looking around . Is the Matrix when extended strong enough on the joints

    • @fishingbitesandbanter293
      @fishingbitesandbanter293  2 года назад +1

      Personally I'd go Preston as they seem the most reliable and easiest to get spares . But all are decent barrows .

      @@fishingbitesandbanter293 i certainly wouldnt recommend the Preston trolley, bought one brand new, it lasted 4 weeks before the front wheel bearing fell apart,took it back and they gave me another new one, same damn thing happened after 5 weeks this time, so i took it back again and got my money back, then bought the Map x4 trolley, the Map is an excellent trolley, had it 8 months now and not had a single problem with it.

    Wheels do not turn, it seems. How does it feel when pushing on winding path.

    • @fishingbitesandbanter293
      @fishingbitesandbanter293  2 года назад

      Hi. It feels manageable. A little bit of effort needed and I would certainly agree that wheels that turn or corner would vastly improve manoeuvrability.

  • @ianwest9784

    Turn it upside down and put the wheels on first and extend itbefore the handles are put on
    I find that easier
    I've got the map 4 wheel

      How do you store it when you're at home as haven't got the space to store flat and the wheels go everywhere when stod up on end thanks

    • @fishingbitesandbanter293
      @fishingbitesandbanter293  2 года назад +2

      I take it apart and put it in a bag and it's stored in a shed outside . Or in a cubby in the house . It folds down enough to get back Into the bag easy enough. 🎣

    • @fishingbitesandbanter293

      Still got it and going strong. No issues yet apart from the stitching on the back bag coming apart at one of the velcro straps. Due to me over loading not a flaw in the bag.

    • @fishingbitesandbanter293
      @fishingbitesandbanter293  2 года назад

      Still going strong . Issues I would comment are that the wheels bits can come loose if not tightened up well . I also have to say that as I have a car rather than a van I have to take it apart and put it together every time so threads and welds are being tested well.

      Your think though that for the money it would have puncture proof or pneumatic tyres it's a bone shaker,handles like a barrow but it's a trolley,no wonder then the wheels come loose,it's all too central and the weight and stability not distributed! If it had pram like handle or bars you would have more control over it on a gradient,it's hard to imagine our parents pushing us around in a barrow with no cushioning!!
