The previous tenant probably bought their own showerhead and took it with them.....but the repair is something I would ask management about, but for the size and price it's not bad, plus your on top floor no one over your head. Those small things can be fixed. If the location is good and safe I would consider it

I remember having something similar when I was a kid in our closet until our service provider came and rewired the apartment and took the old gear out. All in all, ask questions and keep an eye out for other apts!
