I'm from Brazil, and I ride a longboard falls several times already, but what I really wanted to learn to walk like you walk, congratulations and all the best for you, loved the video!
For simply cruising, check out the Pintail series. They are offered in four different sizes depending on your height and weight. These boards are great for cruising around, they're low to the ground, and can be paired with Original spring loaded trucks for easy carves! -Lindsay
Original, I just wanted to say, I owe you guys. You are the ones who have influenced me into longboarding through your videos. Now just a couple of years in, but longboarding has brought great change in my life. Oh and you have good taste in music as well. Hats off to you guys. Keep up what you are doing. We started out riding and filming for the same reason you guys are doing it, because sometimes it rains, and sometimes you get hurt, and thats a great time to edit or re-watch the good times.

God damn. What I would give to have a group of friends like this and be willing to leave reality, go to the most beautiful places in the world, and longboard like this. Im lovin the vids. I hope every single one of these guys are grateful to have what they have because theres nothing like it.
@bloomblammy the freeride 41 with rocker concave would be a great board for the type of riding you are looking to do. It's meant for higher speeds and slides!

the Apex 40 is a great board to learn on that will not limit you as you progress. It also has carbon in the necks so it will not snap. Check out the video and look it up on our website!

I don't think we have any dealers in Kuwait but we do ship worldwide with UPS. Delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days (so its pretty fast). The Arbiter 36 deck actually ships for free anywhere in the world, including Kuwait so that might be worth a look.
A Pintail 37 and 40 complete start at $149, and the Pintail 43 and 46 complete start at $159. The reason for the price difference isn't so much the length, but the Pintail 43 and 46 have more wood plys in the structure, making the boards a bit stiffer. -Lindsay

Although the Apex 40 is strong and has carbon reinforcement bars.. it's still made with wood, and dropping it off a cliff sounds like there's a good change it might not survive depending on how bit this cliff is that you're talking about. I suggest staying away from the cliff in general.

That will depend on who you ask haha
When we started Original there was no such thing as a "longboard", there was only a longboard skateboard. That maybe describes things better since really, 4 wheels make a skateboard. That said longboarding has developed into its own thing. Search "Skateboarding" and you get a different thing than searching "longboarding". I think has less to do with any differences and more to do with what people expect to find when they use the search term.

Hey, It could be your wheels or set-up in general. If your wheels have a sharp/hard edge, they are made more for grip. If you change out your wheels to something round lipped and pre-broken in, then it will be easier to kick them out. With that said, our Freerides are specifically made for slides, you should check the out.

We had only Apex 37 classics as far as I can remember. Same concave as the 2011 Apex 37 though we have now updated that line and branched it off into the Apex 37 and Apex 40 DoubleConcave. I would take a look at the DoubleConcave version as a killer carver / cruiser with an awesome focus on freestyle / freeride. How tall and how heavy are you?

Sounds crazy though I suppose that's the case in our neighborhood as well.
We appreciate the support but make sure you take a look at some of the other Brands out there, good stuff coming out of Nelson and Incline lately. So if you ever feel like you want a change, we fully back those guys as well.

what type of riding are you interested in?
Sounds like the Apex is going to be pretty high on your list. Anytime you start talking freestyle or street, the Apex should be top of the discussion.
You do have some options though.
How tall and how heavy are you? Depending on your height and weight you may want to slant toward a shorter or longer Apex though my personal favorite is the Apex 40.
lol I went to both parks when I went to Hawaii. All I have to say is-BEST PARKS IN HAWAII!
Not going to lie, I was going to hate on you until I saw that you liked Signal Snowboards which I have a ton of respect for.
That said, set a better example for your nephew and let your skating do the talking. Then look at the date this was posted, and understand that it was shot two years before that.

that's the older version of the Apex 37 before it had the carbon.
