So happy I went to this concert. No concert will ever top it.
It was so F#%KING good! I traveled to LA for all 3 concerts! Very grateful to have experienced Gilmour LIVE. The Bowls shows were very special...I love the natural / bird sounds as everyone entered the venue! Excellent concert!

it is the old "soundscape" take playing! the same they used during 1994 tour, or maybe even a new one
+manaquina - I'm almost certain it's a new one. Same idea which they had also previously used even before 1994. Not to mention PF's love of bird sounds on multiple albums.
If I mail you a usb .. would you put your actual concert footage on there for me? (fingers crossed) That'd be amazing. I flew from south Texas to Cali for that show. It was like a dream.

It looks like the stage set from the Division Bell tour! The set design was inspired by the Hollywood bowl.

I was there ! We had awesome seats and it was a most memorable night. We took a cab from our hotel that dropped us off right at the gate - the cab was less than 10 bucks and so worth it ! We started walking the 3 mi back to our hotel and caught a cab after 1/4 of a mile. David and his band were AMAZING ! He did not disappoint !

Is that bird sound coming from the P.A?
+Matt Revell - My guess is yes. Awfully loud songbirds for that time of night and PF has a long history of playing bird sounds in songs and as mood before shows.
+Matt Revell From the PA. The first song of the set, 5 A.M. includes birds chirping on the studio recording. They played the sounds at the show all the way up until the band started.
