I bought this dogwood shrub/tree at local Bombgaars in the closest plant provider 40 miles away. I dug a hole through rough as a rock compacted clay soil, took me an afternoon and a morning digging a hole wider and deep enough than the root ball To amend the soil was some rock, compost and brown mulch.
I prayed to the spirit to watch over the tree and keep it healthy even after I'm no longer on this 🌍 earth. Whew
