Blockbuster demanded DVD's be censored and some were indeed shot or cut to meet their demands. Thank goodness China wouldn't do something like that now.

We got Apple Tv to watch Chris Evans' new tv show. Apple tv has some of my new favorite shows. Mythic Quest, Morning Show, and Ted Lasso are soooo good.
I have 4 streaming TV services that cost $53.00 total (Netflix, Prime, HBO and Starz Prime channels). We still have a bundled cable package, and that sets me back $193.00. Streaming still wins for me.
So would that just be women in general now? I mean how many email and phone calls have you received from friends, relatives, and coworkers saying "how are you holding up?" or "is your family safe?"

I can't for the life of me figure out how no business supergenius hasn't cut a volume deal with the suppliers this fractured market and offered customers one boffo login for a discount bundle price. The Honest Trailer was right because it's turning right back in to cable where you had to pay for a bunch of crap you didn't want just to get the few things you do want.
It was also nice when the algorithm new how much I liked a show in order to better recommend me stuff. The moment they took that away was the moment the algorithm could no longer differentiate between "oh my, that was amazing!" and "well I suppose this was better than staring at a wall for two hours". Recommendation quality went WAY down.

My husband is the king of watching the B-movie crap Amazon puts on Prime for free. Any time he picks the movie, the whole family groans.
First of all I am the king of watching b movies and my kids never groan (of course they are on their phones the whole time and barely aware we are having family movie time so...)

It's weird though for the life of me I can't figure out why it failed. I liked that it was free and was okay to trade ad watching for free content. They had struck a good balance of content to ad time too. Mysterious.

I left Netflix when they removed star ratings, was nice to see a movie is 1 star pos before wasting my afternoon
It was also nice when the algorithm new how much I liked a show in order to better recommend me stuff. The moment they took that away was the moment the algorithm could no longer differentiate between "oh my, that was amazing!" and "well I suppose this was better than staring at a wall for two hours". Recommendation quality went WAY down.
Unironically thank Ami Schumer for that one, lmao. got ratings bomb so hard Netflix called everyone mysogynist and removed the rating system.
